American Black Bears and other animals that visit the pool of water created from our spring captured on a trail camera. The camera detects movement, takes 5 seconds to prepare itself, then takes a 1 minute video. At the end of each 60 second video, it stops for another 5 seconds then records the next 1 minute video.

Fawn takes cautious steps. It and it mother obviously hear me walking the trail to retrieve the SD Card and they bound away.

Sorry. I've stated where on so many previous videos that I've gotten lazy and stopped doing that. Thanks for the reminder. This video is at a spring-fed pond in Central-Western Idaho (Council, Idaho) at the edge of where our property meets the National Forest lands.

Are they ginger black bears or brown bears? (I'm clearly not a bearologist.)
They are Ginger Black Bears. Black Bears can be different colors, even white, ...but no white ones are on the main land, only on a Pacific Island around Canada.

I usually do have lots of visitors...but this year has been an exception...not many. Some years I've had as many as fifteen different black bears, this year only about five or six different bears.
They are my favorite 🦇🦇🦇
