After a few bad weeks racing, I decided to go practising to learn the new (to me) KTM SX 250. I absolutely love this bike, so much so that the four stroke is going up for sale. There wasnt enough going on for a proper video, so I have just uploaded a lap with the insta360.

Lee Ashby - Reunion 4 at Monster Mountain. A 2 day event that was a challenge for me (I spent most of my time on the floor) but Archie and Ben both rode well. Properly good track, worth a trip too. I will be going back, maybe when the weather is abit warmer, probably the coldest meeting I have been too!

Bad day all round at the second round of the UK Evo series, was caught up in a bike denting crash in the first race, my shoulder feels how my bike looked. Rode around slower than normal in the last two races because of it... any excuse! The whole crew didn't have the day they wanted... lack of footage all round because of it. On to the next one!

We went back to the Berrynarbor 2 day scramble event in Devon. This time I was on a different bike that didnt want to run.... Borrowed Dads bike on day 2 and got some good racing in (other than a track marker to the face). Day 1 was abit of a washout with the standard UK weather.

Lose the back pack. Riding with a backpack on is not good.
What are the bikes like? Are they well maintained ? Do you have a choice what you can ride ?
The bikes are good, some have more hours on than others but are all up together. Theres a mix of 250f and 450 hondas, they bring them all so you can ride which ever one you want.
The bike is so compact. Like riding one of those things in the forest in Star Wars

I think you thinking of the street twin. This is a speed twin, 1200 with double front disks. Its still no sports bike but its supprisingly agile. Will lift the front easy enough with a dab of clutch.

Jetting sounds a bit off in midrange
I have been having quite alot of issues with the jetting on this 150. Went back to fully stock jetting last weekend, its better than it was but still not right 👎. Never had any problems with the old Keihin carbed ktms. The 19 Mikuni carb on this has been a pain...
@@beerbellymotocross1996 I have an old cr that has stock mikuni carb which I could never get right. Changed to a keihin and is perfect so feel your pain. Just sounds like you need to move the clip up on the needle as bottom and top sound ok just needed clearing out a couple of times when you wanted to pick the revs up

@Beer Belly Motocross no I was stood up, pretty much done a front flip out of it and landed head first. Got concussion, internal bruising and a beat up arm.
@@ataylor1314 bloody hell, properly battered out the way! I see they moved the point to the other side after. Those empty IBCs are heavy, he must have hit it quite fast. The medics etc was for you then, i assumed it was for the rider.
@@beerbellymotocross1996 yeh I'm pretty lucky that IBC didn't land on me as it could've been a lot worse, the rider was ok and carried on but him and his dad came up after to see if I was ok

Was a killer in the wet ay it mate . I done first lap Saturday morning was hard took me 1 hour 45 mins . 2nd / last lap it had dried out loads and took a hour with a break to get around.. had few breaks for a breather the first lap . Only done the red day

I have a 98 125cc mate, what class would i go in and do you have to be a member of the evo champs to get a place or can you just use amca licence? ps - the quality of your videos is ace - drone footage etc is 1st class - you really have a knack for editiing etc - hope to see you at a race soon!
Thanks mate 👍👍 it takes me a while to edit but i enjoy it. You would be in the super evo class on that. You can race it on a normal amca license. Its too late to sign up for the championship this year but they can normally fit you in if you enter as soon they open up entries to non-championship riders. Next one is a 2 dayer at Brookthorpe on the 20th and 21st of May
