I’ve also divested myself from strikers in favor of da/sa. Keeping my OG P365 W/manual safety for times when deep concealment is in order. My P07 and P01 will get the bulk of carry time.

Any hate towards Striker vs Hammer is just ignorance. Ignore them. True enthusiasts will own both.

I really like it. Top tip with the mag holder. Slide the belt through the clip loop rather than trying to unclip off the belt👍

Lg/ExLg hand size means I love my P-09 Suppressor Ready. I prefer long sight radius, long barrel ballistics, full frame grip comfort. Stock out of the case accuracy is fantastic. Say 🚫 to dingus triggers.

I was lucky enough to buy the CZ P07 in 40 S&W and it is the only sidearm I EDC. I compete with it at club level and always double action the 1st shot. It does take some practice but once you are familiar with it, you will find the firearm to be very accurate and dependable.

As for CZ an Update: I REPEAT SORRY FOR CAPS BUT DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! THEY WONT WARRANTY my P07 and send out a simple serviceable problem with this de-cocker assembly and warranty it out!!! Despite pictures of the broken lug/part off the de-cocker. As stated before, glad I didnt have a live round in the chamber and only a snap cap since the hammer fell on the round or baboom! Thanks CZ you deserve this hate because your CS is garbage like SIG you dont want simple or to make it simple or solve a simple issue? Other people on the CZ forums have had this issue so Ill be hounding them over till I replace it back to Glock or another hammer fired option. Shame I want to like CZ but I now see like SIG and some others they have no love for their customers all they care about is their b.s. policy and profits. Contact the OIG probably as well f..it smh. CZ P07 P09 guys switch to a safety and beware!!! In no way shape form or fashion should I have to send my gun in just for a self serviceable part that is included in the box with the firearm during purchase. IMHO CZ needs to be put on blast! What if once again, I had thought I was safe to de cock and the gun went boom since it slammed down on the firing pin instead of properly going to the half cocked position and been at an IDPA match or something looking like a blithering idiot!!!! Both have benefits you dont switch to switch.....with a Glock no ND or AD will most likely not happen but I traded the SIGs for CZ P07s and kept Glocks. Im sorry but when SIG refuses to address the issue with their platform Ill take CZ. Note I just warranty claimed my decocker with CZ!!! The decocker let the hammer fall all the way on the firing pin! AD can happen with that platform as well you take a risk with mechanical apparatus of any kind. What would have happened if I had a live round in the chamber? Hmmmm? Luckily I was dru fire practicing with a SnapCap in the chamber. So switching does not guarantee safety.

Another plus you didn’t mention is when upholstering to fire in an emergency you are much less likely to get on the trigger too early. I bought an Sig 365 when I decided to start carrying and it immediately became apparent to me that this is way way more dangerous than my previous PX4 I used to carry in my vehicle. After really looking into the matter the CZ P-07 was an obvious choice. Good gun, not so expensive to cause you to worry about wear or potential loss if ever used. I’ve never found the double action pull to be an issue but I also stay proficient with my 38 J frame DA only revolver. We are in full agreement.

I agree 100 percent with all your points. I carry a Arex zero 1 T daily and love the gun. Without question hammer fired da/SA pistols are safer than striker fired guns as long as the person is trained and practices. I think many many times striker fired guns are purchased when a person is trying to avoid practicing regularly. First time gun buyers buy a sig or a glock shoot it maybe once in the first year and think they are competent. Funny thing is I hear all sorts about the DA trigger pull being inaccurate and that your wasting your first and most important shot, I call BS on that. In reality many who carry Da/SA who pradtice regularly will tell you that 9 times out of 10 that there first shot in DA is more accurate and on target as fhere second shot. In a self defense situation I've never heard anyone ever talk about the quality of theor guns trigger pull.....

Biggest issue on older P-07 and P-75 pistols? Firing pin retainer roll pin are prone to breaking and can happen as little as 500 rounds and should be replaced.

CZ fan here & love DA/SA pistols.There is so much to recommend in this genre.

Agree 100%, not to mention you can see the state of your firearm...... the hammer is there to see, cock and decock..... and I'm not sure a SA/DA takes longer to learn.... perhaps 5 more minutes.... ;) And you don't have to use the long pull if you don't want to, you can manually cock the pistol..... I am particularly fond of pistols that have a safety and decocker.... that gives you other options like cocked and locked.....

Bought this gun and after 20 rounds the decocker was walking itself apart causing the gun to go into safety. Ithen have to squeeze the decocker back together to make it function properly. Took it back to the store and sent it back to CZ... Still waiting for it to come back! So far NOT a fan of the gun.

You can deploy your thumb stud or spider hole knives more quickly by holding them horizontally in your hand, pressing your thumb against the deployment fixture, then pushing in an 11 o’clock direction, like you’re snapping your fingers.

I watched a torture test of the P-07 and it was just a reliable as the Glock.

Just picked up my CZ last Saturday and I love it!!

Mine is shootin quite a bit high. I understand that the sights are setup to be under the target. I may change the sights, not sure if i like this

I purchased 3 SA/DA pistols last week, CZ P09, Sar SFP 9 and the Arex Zero 1. I already had the HK P30 L and the FNX .45. I don't mind the DA trigger pull. I train frequently with all of them and make sure I use caution no matter what I carry.

CF scales---if it has texture then it looks/feels good. But when the furface is smooth and maybe shiny it looks cheap and plasticy. So would it still have been wortht he added cost? Just to have an "exotic" scale material? Might not even be solid CF. And as mentioned their's no weight advantage...or not felt. Blade steels---also "as mentioned" S90V is much harder to sharpen and is brittle. And not needed for "everyday tasks". S30V or even VG10 will do just fine...is much easier to shparen...better for most who have little blade sharpening experince...how often does the "average entusiast" sharpen their knives? HONESTLY. It's not like most sharpen 100 blades a week ...nor have most appreenticed under a "blad sharpening master" for 10 years...shaprening over 5000 blades...it's a skill...not going to develop sharpening 1 blade once a month on a Spyderco Sharpmaker :)

I saw a used P 07 online for $350. I inquired about it, and it was sold. Man, I'm hate I missed that opportunity. I like the pink, it may be a good gift for my wife since pink is her sorority color, but she needs to take some training.

Good points. The internal rail system is another factor. It’s also just a really well designed, well built gun. CZs are very hard to beat and that’s really something because we are currently in a go,den age of handgun development and availability.

Appendix carry works the best for me for all of the reasons you mentioned. As much as I love my Glocks and other striker-fired pistols, for added safety I carry CZ P07, round in the chamber and decocked.

Traded my Sig P320xc for this. An all around better gun except the Sig had a smoother faster reload. Can easily hit a target at 15 yards with single action.

Why do they engineer something that requires you to destroy part of the magazine to install it? I suppose there has to be a reason. Try the Strike Industries +2. Looks way nicer, cheaper, and no need to do surgery on your magazine.

For 300 dollar I want it to be perfect, this is overpriced

You have the femoral and saphenous veins, this veins runs down in both legs and are the main source of blood to the legs, this veins are huge and have a lot of blood running, if you cut open this vein you die in less than 3 minutes. You are aiming your junk and this veins area carrying appendix when you are in seat position like in a chair or driving. Also carry a double action flying hammer because carry a external hammer cocked and locked you are in the same risk.

I love CZ slide and construction. They make the best pistols in the world and I’m an HK fanboy. The slide design with the internal rails is slick. The CZ75 and P-07 are my favorites DA/SA’s. My favorite striker is still the HK VP9 however, I hate the idea of holstering a striker pistol with a round in the chamber. I need a hammer to place my thumb against in case something catches the trigger. I’ve seen so many NDs from people casually reholsteting their Glocks. Maybe they aren’t using holster idk but it’s enough for me to prefer a hammer fired CCW.
