The wait for these amazing sticks is over. I only waited 4.5 months for them to arrived. I was a bit disappointed the Cobalt Violet was discontinued but some of their replacements were still quite nice. I am listing where you can get this item and its not on sale.

My dining table doubles as my art studio too. Wow these look like they were worth the wait.
Hi Evy, most of us work on our dining table. I do have my own table which only sometimes I manage to unfold the sides. Yeah these crayons are really nice! They work well with gouache and my watercolor markers.
@@art-alchemy I recently thrifted a desk for $5 I planned on using it as my art desk but I'm sharing it now with my daughter. She has her own desk but I don't mind sharing the space.
It's okay, trial and error. Now we know where not to apply the gloss medium

Oh that's awesome, prisma pencils if you drop them the little rod will break. I still like them I just make sure I'm careful with them.

Hi Maria! Oh the ceramic palette is gorgeous! My first apartment I decorated my kitchen with the blue and white Asian ceramics...this brought me right back. Do you leave the leftover gouache in your palette if you don't use them or do you have to wipe it out to prevent staining?
@LiviesLovelies Hi Pham, I left the gouache there overnight. I will let you know on my video if it stained it. Its porcelain so maybe it won't stain. I suppose we have some of the same taste. I am happy it brought you some great memories.
Hi Maria! Awesome set at a great price. Do you have the water soluble as well? I wondered if these Neocolors transfer color when something presses on top of them like another page?
@LiviesLovelies The Neocolor I do not transfer they do however leave residue in your hands due to my crayons being broken. I do have a larger set of the Neocolor II. I have feature them on my channel as well.
Hey Maria! I saw this on the Thrifty Apprentice a couple of weeks ago and purchased the set earlier this week. I plan to swatch the Roman Szmal paints you sent me using it hopefully tomorrow. That set will be a great addition for your in demand swatching videos!

@rainycity2020 I got the paint tubes stamp sets from Irit Landgraf, she's a CZcams from Austria. I am not sure if she is still restocking them to sell as mine are a few years old. I am going to be doing a stamp school video and a new watercolor stamp set coming up on Friday/Saturday Respectively. @LiviesLovelies Thank You and I totally agree. While I did not dislike Paul Ruben someone should have just told me I had a bad set before. That happened to me with the German Brand of Schmincke...then I found out I had a bad set by another CZcams. Happy Funday!
The golden paints are my level up for acrylics. I think once the summer is over, I'll be ready to dive a little further into the different brands offered. I hear great things about Golden's quality! Thanks for sharing as always! I'd love to see an Art Alchemy Abstract session with these!

I love the traveler's folio with all the areas to keep things organized while on the move. I have to go thru one of the worlds busiest airports here in Atlanta and the anxiety surrounding keeping up with everything makes me dread boarding a flight. Where did you find yours?

I like these student grade watercolours. They are easy to wet and colour blooms nicely. The pro grade in this brand is really rich and lovely as well. What I don't like is some colours have a bit of a sheen
I love shinny watercolors. Inhave not tried the Yarka Pro just yet. I have the White Nights and Sonnets as well.
You should use different paper, like 300g2m you will be surprised how better it will be
How I wish I wouldn't have waited to order the ranger ink pad...2 days later I got it, but at full price. Still worth it for the ize but who doesn't like a good deal?

Thank you! 😊 Hes doing much better..he was my mother dog 🐕 the father of mine and my step-father. He had 5 surgeries about 7 years ago but he's still fighting the good fight.

Wow, interesting video. So strange how your DS paints did not rewet very well. I have a very large collection of tubes, and I only use them cured in pans, but I have never had any rewetting issues with them. I have different palettes and brands that I go through phases of using, so my DS palette has gone unused for long periods. But every time I return I have never had any rewetting issues with them.
@creativespark7371 That's really interesting that your DS watercolors do not harden too much like mine. I wonder if they change the formulation for some. I have notice from this 12 pack they are a little better to work with than the sets or dot card I got in the US. Another artist from Canada has the same issue. Maria

Happy Spring Break! I'm curious if the pigment stays put when dry, if it has a chalky feel, can it rub off the way the super cheap ones do? I need to watch a few more videos to see what it looks like in an actual project. Thanks for the info and for sharing your precious time with us...we know teaching can take a lot out of you.
@LiviesLovelies, The pigment does not rub off, it stays nicely its just the chalky effect on it. I am going to do a field test and see what happens. Actually a lot of these "Gansai" products are really good and the Boku-Undo Shadow sets are lightfast, according to Kimberly Cricket, she had a youtube channel and blog. How does it compares to the academy paper? I was about to order it because I also thought it was academy!
@nabel6499 This roll is a hot press professional Baohong paper. The academy in my opinion is far more thirsty for water.

@@nabel6499 Academy is the student grade version of Baohong. My roll is the HP Professional. All of Baohong papers are 100% cotton.

Watercolors are best with a little water ahead of time. They need to be activated.

I'd love to try using goauche but need to do a little more research on how to store them as I'm highly allergic to mold. This looks like a great set to start with now that you've swatched out the blues, greens and purples which are not easy to find nice ones in sets.
@StudoDunbarPlaces If you want the gouache to stay fresh just add a couple of small drops of rubbing alcohol and it will stay mold-free. I have 2 sets fresh like this for 2 months now. You could also try the new Titanium Mijello Gouache and that will dry and rewet without any issues. I have a video on that one too. Yes, those colors are so beautiful in this set. Maria
I see a beautiful petal that I would outline with a white posca pen and add a few gold paint splatters to the soft mix of colors. Thanks for showing these pretty paints.
