I'll be there in Sept for my first solo trip. I have stayed at Pop many times but it's been many years. We started renting a house when a bunch of us traveled together, but now that it is just me, I wanted to feel safe so picked a Disney resort!

My favorite hotel ever lovely

Hubby and I just returned from our 2nd Viking cruise to Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. I enjoyed the spa treatments. I got a facial as well as a back massage. Totally relaxing. Our first cruise was an expedition cruise to Antarctica complete with a 6 person submarine. We also ate at Manfredi’s which has some delicious Italian selections and the other restaurants and the excellent buffets, like the World Cafe. It even included sushi and sashimi. The afternoon tea was amazing with so many types of tea to select as well as special sandwiches and macarons. I really like that the World Cafe has a coffee machine that dispenses cappuccino and lattes as well as regular coffee. After eating all the fantastic food we had a lovely walk on the walking path which is 1/4 mile so we were able to get 5 miles a day walking it. Viking is an adults only cruise line so that makes it comfortable and quiet. The enrichment lectures that are offered focus on the excursion locations. Also movie nights and a small music venue. We would like to take our next Viking cruise to Alaska next year.

Hey Sara and Jeff, saw you guys haven't posted in a while. Hope everything is going well for both of you. Love your vlogs and both of your positive attitudes.

One of my favorite travel bloggers. We're going to Norway on Disney cruise this summer so really appreciate the information. But oh my goodness, how she ends most sentences on a "up" note, I can't take it. I'm really trying, but even my daughters can't listen to her sweet voice, just because of this. Is this a dialect or accent from a certain area?

After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), they also have their own unique headbands which japan's headbands are better, while hollywood's shirts and hats are better. And rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures. While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies). When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them. When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.

Just subscribed to your channel. I found you guys on IG. I am enjoying your adventure. I would love love to do a Disney cruise in Europe. We did one a good number of years back, when the kids were tiny. But this time around I would not mind some adulting. 😊

This use to be a really nice resort. As members of the Disney vacation club for many years we would come every year from NJ to spend a week in the winter to enjoy the Florida sun. At thyat time they had room service and two really nice restaurants. One was more upscale and the other very nice called Shutters. Over time as Disney started to change so did the resort amenities. They did away with Shutters and the Sonyas the upscale restaurant and combined into one large one called Wind and Waves. The food is ok and the menu somewhat limited. No more room service an amenity we love while on vacation. We now live in Vero which is a great town. And we sold our time share when Disney started to go woke and are no longer Disney fans because the company’s has destroyed many of its traditional values that made it a great family experience.

Went to Aulani. Is it beautiful? Is it well themed? Yes. Does it feel like you’re in Hawaii? No.
