@mattklawiter54 😂💪 I would say that grass does not qualify as a "supporting point", and a stance violation would require a supporting point closer than the life at the moment the disc is released, at least that's my understanding of pdga rule 802.07!

@aaron3771 I definitely should have started pitching to the fairway early, I double bogeyed hole 2 trying to play to the pin 😂

@@bhirdietime Haha! good to hear i'm not the only one... #2 was a triple for me (the first ive had in a couple years) followed shortly after by a double on 5 trying to scramble again... luckily i picked up a couple birdies along the way, but that course is soo good at tempting you to go long.. next time i play it i'm going to see where i land playing it "safer"

@aaron3771 That's wise! You'll have to tell me how it turns out! I think there are plenty of holes that are still birdie opportunities with a safer tee shot, and the aggressive throws are not usually necessary...with a few exceptions like 18!

I'm throwing Disc Golf discs here, they fly pretty differently than a frisbee, and are designed to fly further and faster!

It is pretty sweet! My brother tried to throw into the red basket for eagle, and chained out of the gold basket for an easy tap in 🤣

If you throw a midrange or putter for that distance, it won't go as far off the tree if you hit one. Drivers will hit a tree and fly deep into the woods if it doesn't hit the front of the tree. Just a little advice. It's always better to hit the fairway even if you're short than to go into the woods and have to scramble.

@@johnhunter1362 I'm very aware of that, I wouldn't be throwing my Raptor here in a tournament. But without an overstable mid in my bag at the time, I did what I could to park it!
