My goal and purpose with these videos is to share what I know to help you enjoy and become confident with being out in the “wild”, the outdoors, and make the best of the situation, whatever that may be, hiking, camping, picking berries or just exercising.
My videos are a combination of survival skills, prepping, diving and snorkeling, gear reviews, videos from the outdoors and in general how to enjoy yourself outdoors and in the wild.

Refilling gas canisters
Using a gas transfer device you can refill your gas canisters for your camp stoves.
Benefits using the transfer device
- You don’t have to get a new canister each time you want to go camping.
- Recycling the canisters you have saves on the environment.
- Buying bigger canisters and refilling your smaller can save you some money if you use a lot of gas.

My wife Linda gave me a paragliding gift card for my birthday and now it was time to use it. Sky Sports in Åre in Sweden offer tandem flights from Åreskutan at 1400 meters above sea level, and about 1000 meters above Åre lake., and i flew with the pilot Henning. #paragliding #åre
Snorkeling Vålån (Creek)

Vålån is a creek that flows into the Lake Ottsjön in Jämtland in Sweden. Last year when making a video of crossing the ford over Ottsjön I came past a meander in the creek that looked pretty nice and with good visibility, and this summer I decided to go snorkeling there.

Trying out a pocket chainsaw. Take a chainsaw chain, add holding straps to each end and you have a pocket chainsaw. But is it useful or just a gimmick? I tried it out in the first snow of the fall up in Ottsjö in Jämtland, Sweden, and try to decide what it's bets use could be.
Trangia Micro Light - Review #trangia

In September 2023 Trangia released a new series of light weight camping stoves, Trangia Micro. They have the Trangia Micro Original with a spirit burner and the Trangia Micro Light, with a gel burner. The Micro Light only ways about 180 g/6,5 Oz, has a volume of 500 ml/17 Fl Oz, and is an option for those counting every gram/ounce, and do not need a kitchen to cook a full meal on.

Snorkeling and free diving outside Nynäshamn on the border between the Stockholm archipelago and the Baltic Sea together with Oskar. Water temperature around 16 degrees Centigrade /62 Fahrenheit. Visibility under water 2-4 meters / 6-12 feet.
The ford over Ottsjön - Ridvadet - In The Wild With Chris

Across the lake Ottsjön in Jämtland here is a stretch called "Ridvadet", meaning the riding ford. This has been used for many hundreds of years to ford the lake (but nowadays there are roads leading around).
