I think I have anxiety, although it's not very obvious. In general, loud noises, unclear things, sudden movements, sudden rising or frighteningly low sounds or conversations, making eye contact with people, looking at people's faces when talking, sitting with someone without being 70 or 80 centimeters apart, meeting and talking to people I don't know, that person touching me, a person behaving differently than normal (someone who is normally hard acting soft, or someone who is normally compassionate acting extremely angry, etc.) frighten and worry me.

Videos like this, where you explain yourself or introduce the communication app you use, are good. But, there is something I am curious about. How are you in your normal life? How is your communication? ETC questions. Maybe it's a bit difficult, but can you try to record a day or a part of a day?

You can call me John. I like text to speech technology. Maybe... I’m a blind teenage boy and my world is voices and sounds. Maybe that’s why text to speech is interesting to me. I’m a werbal person but, if I’m stressful, I’m using Ella’s, Rosie’s or Emilio’s voice for communicate. If it is downloaded on my phone, Ella is my preference. Her voice is like a responsible big sister. Maybe this is strange. Because I’m a boy but my text to speech voice is a girl’s. I agree with these opinions. Yeah! This is strange but this is my world and this is my reality.

This was a surprise for me. I'm an android user and I'm using the android version of these voices and when I tried to thicken the pitch on android it wasn't so bad. The voice on the Proloquo sounded very unnatural. I didn't expect that at all. I agree with you. Rosie’s voice is like a little girl and this is so sweet. In the Proloquo app, her normal voice is better than other pitchs.

Seeing someone actively using Proloquo is exactly what I was looking for. If you want, you can make Rosie's voice (that's the name of the voice she uses for those who don't know) a little bit thicker in Proloquo's settings. When you do that with the other voices, they sound unnatural, but if you make Rosie's voice thicker, I think she sounds like a 10-12 year old girl and it sounds natural.

Adding the portuguese is a lot of work. What a great way to learn the basics of a new language.
