Arduino Smart Home Front Doorlock Controller
No longer needing to fumble about for keys to open the front door, now with just a swipe. Alternatively i can remotely open the door if expected guests arrive home before i do, and can issue RFID keys in advance. The security code in the demo is not the actual one in practice (Do i really need to explain that?) and is for my own use to leave home without my phone, keys or wallet.
The system uses two arduinos (External Due for LCD control and a Nano for RFID management inside the home) to control the doorbell, keycode access, programmable RFID card access as well as voice access via Google home.
Have made the external electronics moisture resistant. The setup cant be bypassed by smashing/shorting out wiring as all the communications are somewhat encrypted before sending across a bus to the internal controller. There is shielding and careful placement of the internal bypass relay to not be affected by powerful magnets from the front door.

I've wanted to see how modernising the Roadster's stock late 80's OEM cluster bezel would look. I cant believe how well even the stock OEM dials look after having their surrounds tarted up. Next is to add in glass and make the fascia clip into the cluster backing.

I had a collection of Arduino Mega2560 R3 boards which i'd burnt out parts of, killed or destroyed via various electronic mishaps in wiring. Have collected the boards with intention of salvaging some parts but never ended up doing that. Instead, i've opted to film their destruction in 960fps slow motion.
