This is a great way for people to visually see, the absolutely ridiculous amounts of sugar that are in a typical "beverage" theses days. Your easily made and simple board reminded me of one from when I was in High School back in the early 90's, which used the same concept, to show the amounts of fat in different foods, especially "fast-food". Not sure what they used to represent the fat amounts, but I assumed it was Lard. It was an eye opener for sure as is this, though I really check sugar levels before I buy anything, first and foremost.

the 'rethink your drink' board is brilliant. i did lots of walking and drank lucozade sport drink, because: sport; energy etc. i was warned about the sugar - so, like you, i looked at the bottles and weighed out the white sugar. to say i was shocked is very much an understatement. i also wrote a letter of apology to my DENTIST for cussing his professional skills, that could not keep up with the sugar damage.

First class advice and thankfully I managed to lose 25 kilos about 55 pounds with a combination of diet cut out almost all processed foods, exercise and ramped it up, and only drink one or two glasses of red wine per week..This I did over a six month period and eliminated my BP daily tablet ,checked today in my local pharmacy 122 over 69 and heart rate 59 pm , I’m 70 next month and genuinely feel better than I did 30 years ago..There is no magic bullet if you want to change your life it’s possible, yoga helped me a lot , this lady is spot on about salt , I reduced my intake and it was far easier than I thought..

You are completely wrong to tell anyone to eat potatoes. They are pure starch which looks just like sugar to the body. People need to eat low glycemic index/load vegetables. Potatoes, rice, bread, chips, crackers, juices, sodas, etc, should be eliminated from your diet if you want to lower your blood pressure, loose weight and not become diabetic.

Its because your eating to damn much. Exercise is great for your health but it doesnt do squat for weight loss. Unless you are doing high intensity aerobic exercise and if you are still eating the same even that wont do much. Get off of the sugar and starch and high glycemic vegetables Then you will quit being hungry all the time and eat a caloric deficient to loose weight. Im 55 and my maintenance calories without any exercise is 2000 calories. You want to loose weight bare minimum you have to reduce calorie intake 1500.

I have been with the virus since 2012 until I was introduced by a blogger who also narrated Her story online on how she was cured of Genital Herpes after using Dr Abumere Herbal Medicine.
