This wave is a particularly good wave for the theme. I agree about the badnics particularly with how few pieces go into them they do a very good job at creating the robots.

⁠Looked at the sets for the first time, and realized I should get the Tornado instead of the Adventure Boat. It’s $20 cheaper in my country, a more iconic vehicle and comes with the same characters! The Egg Driller has the ball launcher anyway, so I’m not really missing out with this!

⁠​⁠@@AdamsBrickCollectionI can’t stop laughing when I look at the Egg Pawn. The design has always been funny to me and the brick-built version emphasizes that goofiness. Then there’s that Sonic Mania style Egg Robo that is basically perfect!

Rouge is already in a set that’s the same price as the emerald shrine (basically the second half of that set)

As much as I would like to take credit for it, I cannot. That section was a video that lego themselves created for advertising this set. It seems I forgot to add that in as the source to the side of that clip like I usually do. Which is completely my mistake. Sorry for being misleading on that.

Those classic space mics were very impressive, would have gotten some better photos or videos of them but there was a fair few people in the way at the time

It was a great event as always, having it over 2 days definitely helped with the amount of people/it didn't feel as crowded (or warm) as previous years. Good luck with the next show.

Indeed, particularly when compared to similar sized play sets and pick a bricks. I guess these need more specialised moulds to make the bricks due to the placement of studs.

So I did silly me, for some reason when I looked on the shop that set didn't get put with the rest when I had it sorted by newest.

It is a very nice little set and with the baby thestral piece whats not to love

Indeed, this set does seem a bit more pricey compared to the other current architecture sets particularly compared to the taj mahal set which has only 100 less pieces but is £30 cheeper.

In this short it was just a small tease for the longer video, which the longer video is me redesigning the set myself as the actual set is delayed/canceled so cant really be reviewed
