Could an adult male develop scoliosis due to low progesterone? I ask cause i was diagnosed at 34 with scoliosis and i am on trt (which lowers both progesterone and dhea) but i have an xray from 6 years ago where there was no curve. I know there probably isnt any research for such a rare occasion, i am just asking based on your knowledge and experience if you think it could have such an effect

I am from the UK. I am 52 and had failed spinal fusion with a Harringtom rod (that broke 3 months after surgery in 1990). I had my son in 2004 and he also has a milder form of scoliosis. I was discharged from outpatients in 2011 as nothing more could be done for me - just pain relief. My son was discharged from outpatients at the age of 18 - they said his curve isn't severe enough for surgery. We don't get tested for anything else under the NHS scheme. My dentist says I have low bone density in my jaw
