I think the pen is the vape pen machine. He smoked when he use the top of the pen to push the card in his mouth

The smoke was on the pen. He used the pen to push the card into the mouth and took it from the pen.

The smoke trick is fairly simple. He had a tracker on the end of the market. That’s why he used it to push the card into his mouth. If you watch, he actually puts them and of the marker into his mouth which allowed him remove the tablet. I’m not a magician but that truck was not impressive.
