My old hometown. My parents had owned a house in Glen Eden on Glengarry Rd. Lived there from the '70s to the '90s. Left in 99 for Brisbane, Australia and have never returned. Has changed a lot, and looks like a dump now. Such a shame

I grew up in Greenwoods corner, (3:57)in the 60s and 70s. I left NZ 40 years ago, I forget how green and lush everything is. Memories, thanks.

Last time I had a trip to nz it was soo full and fun there was a food court and so much to do…. Toy shops play place in the food court… and now I’m back to nz… it’s alll gone… all the fun every 2000-2013 kid had…. It’s just gone… I am very sorry that pakuranga plaza is dying slowly… if it closes down one day… what will we do…? Only thing keeping pakuranga alive is countdown and the night markets… it’s bc of that damn Sylvia park pakuranga is so dead…

I walk that same route regularly, starting off at Auckland hospital, over Grafton bridge, K Rd and queens st, when I get bored going that route I'd continue down K Rd to Pitt St, greys Ave, cross mayoral drive and cut through the back of the town hall, and off down queens st..
