[POV] NO Room for MISTAKES With This Special Escort
Welcome back! Today we are back in the Netherlands to join the elite motorcycle escorting officers of Team Traffic. This escort will be different from the regular escorts you've witnessed on our channel. Can you guess what makes this escort so special?
We start our journey in downtown The Hague and we will make our way to Schiphol airport located just south of Amsterdam. This special escort requires a larger team of officers. This time they are not only responsible for getting the escorted vehicles fast and smooth to their destination, but they are also in charge of additional safety and security along the way. The team uses different tactics while navigating through the city. Within city limits the team instructs other drivers on intersections to keep driving in order to get the road ahead free of traffic. They also retain a slower pace then regular traffic and the officer tailing the escort doesn't allow anyone to overtake. This tactic prevents malicious drivers from getting too close to the escorted vehicles. Outside city limits the team can decide to let other traffic overtake them, but this is dependent on traffic density.

[POV] ENTIRE City BLOCKED For Newborn Emergency Transport
UK Special Escort Group are probably the best of the best but these folks sure have their act together too, nicely done!
Even with an emergency vehicle you have to STOP at every corner? It's going so slow.
Those two red cars were lucky the bikes were not CRS. Being red cars, they probably think they have the same rights as the Pompiers.
When looking at these videos I am always thinking of my son that had to do such a journey, about 100 km when he was two hours old. He is now 29 and well. I am so thankful for everything that was done for him, and us.
yea sorry but this was just bad
We have the same problems in the UK and yet the police do nothing to catch these drivers.
so so professional all ofd you,i did note the steady pace of the police car and anbu thanks to the bike riders.I really enjoyed watching this, you guys and ladies arte an amazing group of professionals xx
Thank You!đ
In Canada, and most of the US, traffic is required to stop, in BOTH directions, when emergency vehicles sirens on to pass. Sadly, incompetent drivers who blocks intersections on red and do not leave space often block ambulances and cause delays.
Days pecht. Scheepvaart houd geen rekening
Whole city pushing to save a childâs life and other side of the world , thousands dies of war, aids, malaria and hunger
i think you switchet the n111 and the n11 but not a big isue (sory for my bad english not my first languege)
If they'd put the VIP on the bike or in side car, they'd be faster đ
When first watching, it feels cool to do the driving, you know, ignoring "they are specially trained." About halfway through the video, you see all sorts of techniques to make space where there is none. All four drivers did an amazing job, and I will pray for their continued success.
You can tell the police wants to win every second they can because it adds up to minutes if not tens of minutes over the whole trajectory. So every little second they can win here and there matters.
this reminds me why i hate politics so much
Actual good commentary from someone who knows what they're talking about
15:42 bro was driving thru there like it was a race
Yes, it's speeded up, just a little, but as someone who has done defensive and offensive driving training and been involved in a number of high speed operations, I can tell you, these guys were very, very good. One silly move or moment of panic by a driver and the police are toast. The police were impressive but the ambulance driver, weaving a big heavy vehicle through that traffic, was incredible. It takes some doing.
The police car in front is an SIV, a specialised police car for high speed interceptions. It has some serious power and can go really quick. To drive it you need additional training
Great! BUT⊠Iâm still surprised they did not use the much faster helicopter ride between Bruxelles and Paris The cabin pressure in a helicopter is generally the same or lower than on the ground. In most helicopters, the cabin is not pressurized, which means the pressure corresponds to the external atmospheric pressure at the altitude the helicopter is flying. An helicopter ride at low altitude between the two hospitals would have taken 1,5 hours instead of 3-4 hours.
Boss level bike riding.
100km/h during the day ? nah thats really outdated info. 120 in the day on most highways 130 later in the day when things calm down
I thought the french do the same as we do in germany with opening a lane in traffic.
idk how it is in Europe but in the US you're supposed to pull over and come to a complete stop until emergency vehicles have progressed past you, and on a high-speed road I would expect if not a full stop then a significant reduction in speed... all the cars that are just keeping pace with the ambulance make my blood boil
Why wouldnt they use a Rescue Helicopter instead of driving 2h30min+? Doesnt really makes sense to me
since they were going to the airport i figured it had to be some sort of VIP
Wow! These folks definitely earn their paychecks!đ
They did an excellent job. Thank you officers
9:00 Thatâs not totally true. Also with only the lights (which were already on), it counts as a priority vehicle. The siren just helps to let people know in a (very) loud way that they are coming trough. Most times on the highway you donât even really hear the sirens when you are driving the car.
Well done for the escorts for emergency........but never for so called VIP escorts
I was there a few months back during a guest lecture from South Holland's mobility advisers and they are planning to rebuild both of those bridges as they are lacking in capacity and are too low. I think the Lammebrug Bridge will be a fixed bridge with more lanes, while the Trekvlietbrug Bridge will be a non-fixed one, but as it will also be lifted up, so the times it has to be opened will fall by a big amount.
All for VIP, they should the same as anyone else go with flow of traffic. !!
This is so incredibly heroic! Those motor drivers!!!! Amazing! Team work is splendid! Deep respect for all!
I'm so confused on this one
wouldnt it have been quicker to use a helicopter?
14:55 There is always communication with bridge operators to close, or keep closed the bridge. This will be investigated. Maybe the operator didn't get the call. Maybe there was a ship unable to stop in time. The outcome will be used to learn and even rewrite the procedures. 15:35 Stress level is understandably higher the younger the patient. But the professional crew silenced the siren till they could move again. 15:51 Checking the next bridge is down. From this point there are more than one route options. I travel this route often, but not nearly as fast as they did. Hope the kid is OK now.
Love the videođ„ blue light alone is also emergency vehicle tho
for fuck sake you have to do that for an ambulance to pass? what a third world country. how hard is it for those dumbassed drivers to create a corridor for anything that is driving with sound and light indicators on?
necker's hospital yeah. those officer are also trained to ride without hand
03:10 waiting for a stopped car before blocking with the motorcycle. That's smart.
Special Escort Groups do awesome work regardless of country.
I guessed it was likely a political person (VIP) due to going from Den Hague to Schipol.
For an ambulance escort I always have deep respect. For a socalled VIP its just a waste of recources. I mean, when they just go by car as I have to do, your 10 minutes later at the airport....
Could you please learn how to properly pronounce Schipol, it drives me nuts every time you say it wrong.
For many overseas people the correct pronunciation is not easy to say as the combination of characters has a different pronunciation to Dutch or other Germanic languages like Afrikaans. An example of such could be when saying the word âvanâ in Afrikaans the pronunciation is different with the âvâ pronounced more like an âfâ. Being able to speak Afrikaans I can understand the frustration at foreigners mispronouncing names. đđđ
Dutch people care more when it is an ambulance... đ
I can see why they need an escort, the roads are simply packed with traffic, truly gridlocked and bumper to bumper. đ€Ł
How retarded to give a "vip" an escort đ€ŠđŒââïž
Reason why people stay in the midde lane because of speed limit . If we could go faster without a ticket the slower people will stay right .
Yeah, right đ
@@hl9148 no, not right. In our country it is illegal to overtake on the right side. That is why the officers use the left lane: to create a free passage ahead.
in the uk it is now an offence and a police officer can give you a TOR traffic offence report which includes a fine and points on your licence
In The Netherlands we had years ago a lot of traffic control by police. Too long on the left and you can be sure of a ticket. Since a year or 4 no more. Don't know why. And as stated in the video, it is very annoying they drive for miles in the middle lane.
Problem is. In the Netherlands its not allowed to overpeeding even there is bleu light behind you. Thats why its looks kike they not moving to the right.
