I have the same issue on a 93 k1500 and the sender did not fix my issue. My needle drops really fast like yours at idle. Could it be the dash gauge itself? I had to pull my distributor to get mine out. What a pain!

Quick note... use teflon thread sealant when putting the new switch in. The red substance on the threads out of the box is a thread lubricant; you still need to use sealant. A leak at that spot on the back of the engine is an annoying pain in the arse.

After watching this whole series, I'm super glad that I bought the bsr raven instead of the hawk. Pretty close to the same bike, but with much better fit and finish (and they might actually have a torque wrench at the factory, unlike the hawk that I believe is built in the back room of a Chinese hotpot restaurant)

Here is how bizarre of a concept "hell" is: 1. It is a place (or perhaps state of being) that is unnecessary. No one actually _needs_ there to be such a thing. If the problem is that there are some very bad people, simply ending their lives is more than sufficient punishment. It's an elegant solution that does not require any upkeep. 2. It is completely contrary to the character of any omnibenevolent god to condemn someone to eternal suffering. No god who is supposedly all-good would create such a thing, nor would they allow it to be created by anyone else. 3. It is utterly disproportionate. If someone commits the "crime" of jaywalking, the courts don't sentence them to death, nor do they sentence mass-murderers to 40 hours of community service. The very bedrock of "justice" is that *the punishment must fit the crime.* Other than say, Hitler, Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot, almost no one who has ever existed *deserves* to be punished for eternity. CERTAINLY no one whose worst "sin" was telling a few lies, watching porn, or being unkind to someone, deserves it. 4. No doubt some are going to invoke "free will" as the reason why hell awaits people who have "sinned". Not so fast. First, not everyone _has_ "free will". For example, there are multiple psychological conditions that preclude it (such as psychosis). Second, "free will" is by no means the most important thing to most people, so it cannot be held-up as the cause of human suffering before, or after death. For example, imagine you're the parent of two toddlers, living in Subsaharan Africa. Cholera has been sweeping through your village and you have already seen many other children die from it. Your children are now infected and they *will* die . . . unless . . . an angel appears and says "If you want, your children will be cured of cholera. In fact, they can never know suffering or hunger, never feel pain, and never die. *But you have to be willing to give-up your free will, and so do they."* I can guarantee you that 99.99% of parents would say "YES! Anything! Just save their lives!" So "free will" isn't the essential that many seem to think it is; it is easily trumped by the loving care a parent feels for a child, and they would be willing to relinquish it in a heartbeat to save their lives. 5. For those who believe the story of Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the story of how sin came into the world -- consider this: Yahweh supposedly created 2 trees in the Garden: the Tree of Life, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil. Adam & Eve had ZERO understanding of the world of death, of the consequences of ANYTHING. They would've been as naïve as the average 3 year-old. Why would a benevolent god put 2 similar things within reach of a child, and tell them that one was good for them, and the other, bad? What reason could there possibly be for that? And to name the one they _weren't_ supposed to touch "the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil"?! Isn't knowledge supposed to be a _good_ thing? And then Yahweh supposedly allowed a talking snake to be in the Garden too, to tempt them. WHY? Why would any benevolent god do such a thing? Imagine a parent of a 3 year-old putting a loaded gun on a table, and then asking some Walter White-type character to go in and test their 3 year-old by tempting it to pick up the gun and pull the trigger! We are ALL moral enough beings to recognize that doing this would be evil and wrong. So why is it righteous and just if a god does it? So, as the story goes, Eve is tempted and she succumbs, and eats the fruit. Immediately, everyone throughout history is condemned to hell, unless they perform certain rituals, and/or say certain phrases (there is violent disagreement between various sects as to what those things ARE, of course). In what way is this just?! In what other realm do children get punished for the mistakes their parents make?! What's clear is that this is all just Bronze Age folklore; stories as absurd and illogical as anything collected by Ovid in his "Metamorphoses" (the Roman book that collected the stories of King Midas, et al) . . . except that some people in the 21st century *still take them literally.* That is bizarre and sad. And when it's forced upon children, it's child abuse.

...or make the valveadjustment easier and faster.. the nut is a m6x0.75 , loosen the nut, screw the adjustment up a bit,then down so it just touches the valvetop,set one of the corners of the nut straight at the screwdriver cutout in the adjuster,and hold the nut still,now screw the adjustment back by one edge on the nut - done 0,75mm/6 = 0,125mm, takes secounds
