This podcast has been such a wonderful and awe-inspiring experience. There were many different aspects of parenting that I had never even thought of. There are many things that I would love to write about just from this podcast alone, but the biggest takeaway for me "were"; How Saqib instils high aspirations in kids. 28:25 How he contrasts them with others without alienating them in any way and 25:01 How he emotionally feels towards his family and generally in life. 36:29 I also like the way he allocates his, time is ticking he said. I need to make a video on that. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Let your children be Free

I spend 10 minutes a day with my kids right before bed time. We read Islamic stories and discuss them. It is their time. No phone, no TV, no electronics. Honestly, you have to do it to see by yourself how much change 10mns a day can do. May Allah reward you. Your brother from Sénégal 🇸🇳 and USA 🇺🇸. Islam is nothing but fun.

This was another very rosey pretty idealistic talk by brothers who cant relate to the real traumas facing our community. Let's be real, with due respect, the Asian Muslim community sugar coat the pleasant hadiths of parents but we rarely ever dare I say it we run away from the real issues that we have which is the toxic abusive parents that we have in our communities. I'm not even talking about these spoiled brats who lie on their parents but I'm referring to the real toxicity that we Asian Muslims never address and our Imams run away from working with our families on.
