Since you are removing your engine and are pulling out your shaft I would highly recommend buying a Bruntons sigma drive (look it up on SV PRISM CZcams channel, those guys are the go to guys for our boats) Anyway it helps a lot with buffering the engine vibrations to your shaft. They are about $500 but well worth it. Also while you are at it check your engine mounts. I would buy new hearty ones and you won’t have to worry about them for years, plus the Sigma drive will help keep everything aligned!! Best of luck Andy

Tried to fix my leaking Jabsco toilet manual pump last year. After dissasembly/new gaskets/reassembly/still leaking, I forked $150 over and got a new pump. Works like a charm now.... great work on the hoses!

I'm really surprised that the curved cutout in the rudder that forms the prop aperture doesn't allow you to remove the prop shaft from the outside, by turning the rudder hard over and creating a path for the shaft.

Hello ladies Fellow HC 33 owner here, hull #28 🙌🏻 Let me give you a little bit of advice with removing the steps. All you need to add is those little sticky sliding round thingies (don’t know the actual name for them but you can buy them at Home Depot, etc) Any way stick a bunch of them on the bottom base of both steps and that way you can slide the smaller step towards the navigation station and the bigger steps you slide/pivot into the galley area and that will be much more practical!! Did Roger see the reflection and get over enthusiastic?

Well this is just interesting. I am an obsessed watcher of sailing CZcamsrs and believe it or not I have been a life long power boater. I really had no use for a "blow boat" but things have completely changed thanks to CZcams Sailing channels. I watch many channels and they all inspire me and let me travel the world from my couch. I even joined my local sailing club to get some experience to crew more in the future. You need to get down to the Bahamas and the Caribbean to really grow you channel. We all love the beauty of the water and sea life on the reefs. Get some high end 4K underwater vid equipment and of course a drone and please PLEASE get decent wind reducing mic. Vids are just annoying with the roar of wind noise. I would love to hear more about your time on the Chesapeake because I grew up on the Bay. Love your focus on living sustainably and minimizing your environmental impact.
