Why Suicide Prevention Training for Staff Matters
My daughter speak up and told her counselor because she worries about her friends being suicidal then her friend’s mother was notified about it. Turn out she wasn’t believing in mental illness or belief that her daughter was suicidal. Her daughter end up bullying my daughter stopped being friends with my daughter. It was so sad and unfortunate situation. I tried to explain to my daughter that sometime it hard to helped those who refused to open up their hearts or understand what issues they were dealing with. I wished more schools teach this kind of thing more and early to all children and parents.
"PromoSM"
Boys who describe themselves as transgirls or girls or nonbinary need access to subsidized sex-affirming psychotherapy.
If teenagers are in prison for life therefore, they are prisoners for the rest of their lives then I don't see how suicide should remain to be prevented.
Thanks !!💜
Thank you Jim great information

I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my CZcams channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙

👋I survived my suicidal attempt when I was 18. I am so grateful that I didn’t die even though I became paralyzed. By God’s Grace, my mental health is excellent now. If you are depressed, I hope you will not give up, it’s a treatable medical condition. If I can recover, anyone is able to potentially. Sharing my experience here czcams.com/video/xi-on4PmKuE/video.html

Went out of my way to find this video to say how fucking awful it is. It already assumes you have good friends and treats you like you are five. Depression is not that simple and it offended me so much with how simple they think it is, it made me embarrassed on how I was feeling and later that night I wanted to die. Fuck the teachers who actually wanted me to take this seriously.
Anyways thank you Cindy 🦦

I'm a Life Coach that teaches parents and people working with teens how to connect, reconnect or mature the connection they have with teens and something that STOOD OUT to me is Josh mentioning just needing a HUG sometimes....so, any adults here scrolling through comments...go HUG your kid, mentee, cousin...whomever. They may need it...and get real, most of us don't just come out and say "I NEED A HUG TODAY"... <3
My boy is 15 and I still give him hugs when I see him feeling down...everything helps and may even be necessary as we continue to fight this battle...stay safe and chin up.
