PSA Oxygen Video
In this video, we are discussing how an onsite PSA oxygen generator works. Atmospheric air consists of 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, and 1% of other gases. MVS Engineering Pvt. Ltd offers an onsite PSA oxygen generator. It comprises an air compressor, where atmospheric air is compressed under heavy pressure. Then the compressed air is cooled and passed into an air dryer, to eliminate all water molecules. The dry air is collected in an air receiver. Then it passes through a series of filters, where PSA technology is applied in two towers. Nitrogen gas is trapped within the molecular sieves of these towers, leaving only pure oxygen that is collected in a surge vessel. When molecular sieves of one tower are saturated with nitrogen, oxygen production is switched to the second tower. Meanwhile, the sieves of the first tower are depressurized to release nitrogen back into the atmosphere.
