How to enjoy biking and hiking as a senior. As a senior, I really enjoy biking and hiking year round. My channel is designed to help seniors to stay active. I also like to interview people as I am riding and share with them life experiences. I also have an e bike ministry where I feed the poor and the homeless and fill blessing food boxes on the bike trail. 1-9 people go to bed hungry every night. I focus on praying for people that I help and direct them to the helping agencies. I hear it often said that people step out in their faith where I say you have to "step into your faith" I believe faith is action through faith.

Absolutely! God will put you where he wants you. That was my prayer before I left to make myself available. I call that a God appointment
great color bike
Thanks!
Riding on the pavement or sidewalk is not permitted in the uk, probably because more people walk and use the pavements.Another great video. Greetings from the UK.
Thank you so much for watching!
I love my TK1 Thanks Dan for the ride
It is definitely their crown jewel!
Great job!
Thanks!
I live in north georgia , how does it do on a 4% slope ?
It does very well on hills for sure.

Old-school riding 😊
What would be new school riding? lol
Where is your rear reflectors? 😂
I didn’t put them on yet. Too lazy to pull the fenders back off. lol
Thanks for the review. It would be helpful to know how tall you are. Thanks.

I wouldn't be asking for aproval for a review, it should be your review of your experience ? Nice to see you out and about enjoying life, I just turned 60 and find myself sitting around too much and think I might get an ebike as I loved riding when I was younger but a little out of shape now, Cheers from Canda !
That was the agreement I had with the company. Not really a approval but they just wanted to be the first to see the video. I will upload the video regardless of what they think and will not change anything on the video.
@@seniorebikeadventures At a boy, keep on truckin !
Thank You!
Good for you. 55 year old albertan here. Got a e bike in 2016 and it's still running great motor takes me to 43 klicks on throttle alone. With peddling like crazy I've gone 51 klicks on a peddle bike. Now I can take off on adventures. Have a basket on front to hold my small dog..❤ used to run a husky beside me for years was great being able to run her out...
Thanks for sharing this! I love to see my viewers get out and enjoy the outdoors.
A good car is parked in the yard, exactly the same as mine 👍👍
The van or the truck?
@@seniorebikeadventures silver van🙂
It would be considerate to slow down when meeting walkers on the trail,
I will try to remember that
I love how small it is, I always use them old tried and true foot pumps just cause that's what I had as a kid, but this would be great. I can plug that into my solar charger and use it for my inflatable mattress too. It's loud but I would imagine in order to work and be that small it's just got to be loud.
It is a little noisy but pumps things up really quick.
Looks really portable and quick
Yes, It works very well!
Your seat looks a little low. You shouldn't be able to put your feet flat on the ground when you're sitting on it. You haven't got proper leg extension.
At 110 lbs you need as much stability as you can get when you come to a stop.
....and looking like peewee herman with all of your accessories. Do fifty mis on a real bike
Sound went to crap at the end of the
Dan the clarity is much better stay with the 4K 👍 thanks for mentioning me
No problem Gary, thanks for letting me know about the video quality
Wash and lube my chain today
I do that quite frequently on all my bikes.
You do a great job
Thank You for the kind words.
@@seniorebikeadventures Did you get my message about the bike?
Yes, I responded I thought. The bike weighs 110 lbs and I think it may be a bit heavy for a smaller rider. The Aniioki is a great bike though.
Love the bike, at some time if you should decide to sell, I could really be interested.
It is for sale! I have had a lot of fun with it but due to inventory I have too many bikes. Do you live in my area?
You can email me at seniornation@yahoo.com if you are interested.
@seniorebikeadventures no in Kansas City. I wanted to ask about the bike 1. How old is the bike 2. How many miles 3. I'm about 5'3" will it work for me. I'm riding a HeyBike now that I have to hop on and off to get off bike?
Oh yeah how much are you asking ?
We are about same age, but I'm pretty active
Chest mount. Also following drone was good.
Good to know!
What did you say the price of that bike is?
I believe $1699 according to their website.
I need to cut back the vegetation on my rail trails
You don’t have the city doing that?
Seems like a good bike for touring. But otherwise 60AH seems way overkill. My Lectric XPremium has 20AH and I never come close to draining it on a normal ride.
It is primarily for long distances, but other than that, yes it is overkill.
Anybody know why these bikes are so much cheaper on Amazon then the website?
Always have been. With Amazon you will get a second wave of support if you get problems on the bike.
I have 2 ripcurrent s We love them one has 1350 miles The other has 1139 miles have fun
I owned the Rip Current S as well and loved the bike but had to clear my garage to make room for new ones and sold the Rip Current.
@seniorebikeadventures what's your new one ? I've been looking myself Thank you for your time
I recently got 2 new trikes in , Kingbull and the Varun 20 inch fat tire e bikes
I think I would fall over and pass out before I hit 100 miles lol love that thing.
I hear ya! Carrying a backpack for 50 miles les is a little tiring.
I see you got your safety vest 👍
Yup
I think you have your seat a little low on this bike. You shouldn't be able to put your feet flat on the ground. Apart from that, a great video. You're looking well for 72. Keep up the good cycling. Greetings from the UK.
Thanks so much for the kind words.
Thats for a regular pedal bike. If you are able to pedal and want to pedal, then you don't need an ebike. I am disabled, and cannot pedal. I have to have the seat down where I can get my feet solidly on the ground to keep from falling over.
What's the motor power inside, can you open and review it?
Wrt the spandex crew, it's not jealousy, it's narcissistic arrogance.
Yep! That is a better word for it.
I own the Aniioke AQ177 pro max with duel independence motors. I rarely use both at the same time and I’m hitting around 75 miles with very little peddling.
I think they are going to send me the dual motor sometime early August
@@seniorebikeadventures must be nice to receive free ebikes
Good design , but we need a compact one , half of its size for bikes
I would agree with you on that one.
I'm building a website was going to mention my favorite e-bike channel and, but your video embedding is turned off in description. I can still direct interest people to your you're channel page though.
Not sure how to fix that. Thanks for liking my channel. Much appreciated.
Great job...wanted to hear the joke...😁
It was really bad! Not for this channel! lol
Wow...28 miles a day.....🦵💪 16 gallons of milk...🤣😂
That is truly incredible! I see him every day on the trail.
I can do 50 miles with just a can of coke as fuel on my manual bike
Thats pretty awesome
Have subscribed to your channel as I like seeing people actually riding their bikes on these trails. For me the longer the video the more I like them. I hope you do more long videos. Greetings from the UK.
Many more to come! Thanks for subscribing!
My e bike does 100 miles on a full charge and it's only a 250 watt and 24 amp hours battery.I am in the uk too. Its nice to see an American on a e bike who is actually peddling and not using the throttle all the time. It's just a pity we don't have these sorts of rides in the uk. I need to bike at least 10 miles before I can even get to any type of countryside with less or no traffic.I hate cycling in heavy traffic so that puts me off a bit riding it. Good video though apart from the speed up at the beginning which made me feel a little dizzy 😂.
Thanks for the heads up, I will adjust the speed level down.
What bike do you own please? I want one that can go for 100 miles too!
Would you recommend this ebike for a person 4'10" in height? This is a very nice e-bike and thanks fo sharing review.. By chance could you please tell me what the seat measures from it's lowest point to ground?
I will get that to you sometime today.
Spandex people are more dangerous because they are reckless. They cause more accidents because don´t respect the crossing lines, signals or they get between cars. When they go in a group they never go in line. It happens all around the world. I was one of them but always respected the rules and people. Now I'm an electric bicycle rider. It's awesome and fantastic. By the way, I love your videos.
Thank you so much! New videos coming out everyday.
Kinda ugly actually
Me or the bike or both?
@@seniorebikeadventures 😂looks like a great design. the bike.
Beauty in the eye of the beholder. Might be a good thing, robbers will not give it a look.
I love the looks
The biggest problem with it are the tube type tires. Here in AZ, you WILL have flat tires if you have tube type tires. And just like with a motorcycle that has tube type tires, you will have to have a tow truck. Very few people would be capable of changing a tube on tires of that size. I am 65 and disabled. I can ride an ebike, but there is no way I can fix a flat tube type tire. I am only able to walk about 2 blocks, and even that results in severe pain. My roadside assistance plan covers motorcycles, but it does not cover those things. I have a 1979 Puch 49cc 2 stroke moped, and because it is registered and plated, it is considered a motor vehicle. Those things aren't. Back about 10 years ago, when I was in much better condition, I was able to ride 300+ miles on gas powered 2 stroke mopeds, by carrying a couple gallons of premix gas in saddllebags. At a top speed of 30 mph, that was a long ride.
I also carry flat out with me and a valve stem remover when I ride. I can change a flat tire on the Go most of the time.
Boy scout motto be prepared
Yep at all times. The Navy taught me that when I was 19 years old.
People; when was the last time you sat on a bicycle seat for an hour? For 2? For 5? ;) It's ridiculous some times how much money is spent to "not run out of a charge". For 99% 20 miles is all you will ever use in one sitting. Want to ride double that for some reason, charge it in between. I have an efoil that runs about an hour on a charge and then charges for 2. I can still ride 3 or 4 times in a day if I really want to. Range anxiety is just silliness for most of the population. Look like a tank, what's it weigh? More like an electric motorcycle than bike. You ain't peddling that very far.
Believe it or not, there are people who ride long distances just for fun, without actually needing to go anywhere. I have ridden over a million miles on motorcycles over the past 50 years, and none of it had anything to do with needing to go somewhere in particular. I use a car for "commuting".
@@geraldscott4302 I do the same. Realize that's YOU and not the norm. ;) My 2 ebikes have a range of 40-50 miles and if i do want to ride 100 in a day I just take a break while it charges. To lug 50 lbs extra around for range is just plain silly for 99%.
Thanks for the input. people love this ebike when I review it. It is a bit heavy at 110 pounds and yes, it does look like a motorcycle, the battery alone weighs 30 pounds. I could probably get close to 175 to 200 miles on one charge if I use pedal assist one or two only and I weigh 225 and my backpack is another 15
Thanks for the input, I have only done two different range test on this Ebike. People love it when I review this Ebike. My views and my comments go up quite a bit on this e bike.
This is a great bike to review on CZcams. I get so many different likes and comments and views when I do a range test on this Anoki Ebike. I do love to ride this thing. It is really comfortable with the stock saddle. I get it most people don’t like to be on the saddle for 2 to 3 hours at a time, but I am just different at that.
I DO 40 ADAY SOME DAYS TIMES 2
What do you ride?
Sheesh - put some efficient tires on it... 300 should be within range.
I bet if I put Rd tires on this, you would be correct. I probably would get close to 250 to 300 miles.
Thought you called it the Annie Oakley as my engrish is poor 👍🏻
That is what everybody says lol
I’ve had my Kepler for over a year. I’m 76. Nice bike. Fast. Only drawbacks-the stephthrough isn’t. It’s also almost too fast for pedestrian greenways. Good value. The quality control on mine sucked. It was dead on arrival. They replaced the parts and since then no issues. Make sure to assemble and test within the 15 day period.
I agree with you on the step thru. Overall I love the bike, especially doing off road videos.
