Life is Good When You are Happy....BUT....
Life is GOOD when you are happy but even BETTER when OTHERS are happy BECAUSE of you.
Many think of love as a feeling that must spring forth naturally. But Peter was not talking about just any kind of love - “Above all things, have intense love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.” - 1 Peter 4:8; he was speaking about love in its noblest form.
The word “love” at 1 Peter 4:8 is a translation of the Greek word a·gaʹpe. That term denotes unselfish love that is guided, or governed, by principle. One reference work says: “Agape love is capable of being commanded because it is not primarily an emotion but a decision of the will leading to action.” Because we have an inherited tendency toward selfishness, we need reminders to show love to one another.
Regarding the Greek word rendered “intense,” one scholar says: “It portrays the image of an athlete’s straining muscles as the last bit of strength is willed forth at the finish of a race.”
Our love, then, must not be limited to doing only what comes easily or be restricted to a select few. Christian love requires “stretching” our heart, extending love even when it may be challenging to do so. Clearly, this kind of love is something we need to cultivate and work at, just as an athlete must train and work to hone his skills but it is vital that we have such love for one another.
“Go on carrying the burdens of one another, and in this way you will fulfill the law of the Christ.” - Galatians 6:2

@BibleBlogger Why do you insult me by calling me a troll? Because you do not understand what I'm trying to say? The scripture that I gave you, "no man has seen God." Jesus has been seen!!! is an absolute contradiction of the Bible. How do you reconcile that? That is a very important question and deserves an answer. If you can answer this question, you will stand closer to the truth, the word of God. The reason I challenge you is because you believe in a false doctrine. And you feel that by giving me scriptures that I have read thousands of times before, somehow, it's supposed to clarify this matter. I'm sorry. _IKR! If people only knew....if you read the bible from beginning to end it's like a novel. I've experienced almost every emotion reading the bible. Trust me it's not short on jokes at all!!_

Not true; one of them spoke as He was Jehovah, read Genesis 19:24

Why do you not use the King James Bible? Exodus 6:3 “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.” King James Version (KJV)
_I appreciate the question. The KJV is written in old english which makes it difficult for many to understand because we no longer speak that way so the bible seems impersonal. It's like watching a foreign film; it's still entertaining but you would prefer hearing your native language instead of having to read the subtitles._ _Most importantly though the KJV has removed the divine name Jehovah from its original places and used his titles instead. It has been confirmed that the name Jehovah appears at least 7,000 times throughout the bible. The version that I use is the New World Translation (NWT) and helps me feel closer to my God because I constantly hear and read his name just like any other person. Hope this explanation helps.
