Ive never even held a pair of brass knuckles, and i am an experianced amateur boxer, (im still actively boxing/training) and i had a thought ,say i had 2 pairs of knuckles and in an issue on the streets and i have to fight with a weapon to even the odds or whatever. But i thought of getting a pair for each hand but i would have to hold it like you shown in the video and i can punch like i train. BUT i was told by a good source not to hold them like that, and i should hold them so i would hit with them like knocking on a door.( Land with the "door knocking" knuckles) which turns me off on the idea. But im sure i could make adjustments and make it work, but then again there are way better choices for a weapon then brass knuckes. Being i was told to hold them where they are between my middle 2 knuckes rather than all the way to the top knuckles at the base of the fingers (like in the video) can you explain your opinion why you do it and teach this way as shown in the video? Like i said ive never even held brass knuckles before so i humbley ask cuz i really want to know and i may learn something. (I know the vids a little old but im just cerious)

everybody else says don't wear brass knuckles right below your main knuckles. Why are you instructing people to do this? Also, brass knuckles aren't meant for straight punching, they are meant to throw hooks with, (when you hold them correctly).
