Yes it dries up pretty quick here too that’s why I sprayed the water on the wall first if you watch the video you will see I spray it once so it starts soaking in then I went back over it now the wall won’t suck the moisture out of the finish as fast also I ran the finish heavy so the sun can’t dry it out when I get all my finish on then I can go back and pull it tight and float if you look at my shadow I was in direct sunlight it’s all about the timing thanks for watching
I’ve also done this work for over 25 years and have done it the same way as you and everyone else I had just done a job right before this one where I had to stick 4’x8’x2” sheets on the wall and that’s how it was done I done this one just to see how the 2’x4’ sheets would work I figured I would show something different sorry if everyone has a problem with it
I still come back to this to refresh my memory. This applicator is smooth with it. Spends no more than 10 minutes per panel. Good job my friend. Would be nice to see more videos

Hey buddy. Hope you don’t mind but I have another question for you. I’m doing a foundation I put a finish coat on a small section left it to dry for 2 days then it rained. I came back today and the bottom 8” still wet. Should I wait until gutters are on, and drain lines are connected to continue? I’d appreciate any thoughts Thanks
I would wait until all water issues are done before I put any finish on and I would base coat and mesh before I run finish so it won’t crack. Hope everything works out
I dont see many videos like this ,thanks. What type of material is used to secure the foam and is the base coat a cementitious or a synthetic material. I have a house that uses this system but the finish is a bendable material
Awesome job start to finish. I watched your videos over and over again for training. I'm gonna try and do a little area I have. About 120 sq ft. Let's see how it turns out. Thanks for this video. Taught me quite alot 🙏

Beautiful job bro!
Must be cool out there in that area. Here in southwest New Mexico in the summer you have to have a floater right behind you or it dries

What brand of base coat
I've been doing this kind of work for 25 years and to me it's not the best way to do it but every body do it different

Why don’t they use mud stands and mud boards
I would if I was doing stucco but I’m doing EIFS don’t need them plus I’m on a new roof and don’t want to make a mess

For a crack in a square stucco post (on the corner seam), would you recommend repairing with Fiberglass mesh base coat or elastometric sealant?
What kind of material are you spreading that onto? Is it some kind of foam board?
Nice work
Great video with bonus ASMR. 😴
ASMR ?
color primer works better than water plus it stops bleed thru
I appreciate you watching the video and giving your opinion it means a lot
25 kg is enough for six meters, do not spread the putty, make it separated in the form of small cones
Thanks for watching the video

I would use the mesh

hello dear scot could you tell me what is the name of the scraping tool, thank you very much
It’s called a rasp and I make mine with staples works better than sand paper
Scot excuse the question, could you tell me the name of the tool to make the lines in foam
I us a chalk box and fillet knife I like cutting them free handed
That 16 is wore out!! Mine is too.
I appreciate you paying enough attention to the video to notice the trowel thank you
Hi can u tell me the name of the tool u use to sand the foam please thank u
Its called a rasp I use staples in my rasp not the sand paper it will cut into the foam quicker than the sand paper
how did you make the expansion joints in the foam?
