Alien Ant Farm - These days (One take drum cover)
I always liked AAF, I thought that they were an incredibly under rated band from the early 2000s. They released these days back in 2003 and I remembered it being a killer song. I still listen to their album every once in a while so it was only a matter of time until I recorded a one take drum cover for it (and managed to hit myself in the face while at it). Enjoy!

Boy.... What a song by such a brilliant Musician - @ilanrubinmusic About 7 years ago his group, The New Regime, released this incredible studio session called A B sessions (check it out on youtube). I always preferred the A B versions of the song, their live feel is so raw and incredible. It is also VERY hard to step into the shoes of his drummer in this video, @HaydenScott84. I bought one upgraded the pedals, seat, went to a tubeless setup, and a Sunrace RDM 900 mid cage 9 SP rear derailleur. So all said and done I'm into it for just a little over 365 ish and for what I needed to do it is more than sufficient. If I have my mountain bike it's overkill for riding with my kids and my road bike it's overkill for riding with my kids this perfect for riding with my kids.
I waited over a month and a half checking walmarts app everyday and 2 days ago i finnally grabbed the medium frame! I took it to a local shop for a tuneup because i didnt wanna deal wity the hassle. Should get to ride it today or tonorrow and i am hype

By any chance are you having any issues shifting to the lowest gear?

@@amit_serper the rear cassette jammed when I tried shifting down on my ride yesterday📀. My neighbor and I finished a nice 16 mile ride averaging 14 mph.

Front derailleur was a pain to get adjusted. I had to realign it first because the high gear would rub the derailleur face plate... and it still seems as though it doesn't have the range to effectively shift. The rear took a minor clutch adjustment and it actually pretty good. Oh, and those brakes stop you on a dime. I have to be careful not to flip it!

@@amit_serperhydrologic 4 piston trp brakes is what they need 😂 those will hurt you quick on this bike. The weak breaks that came in the bike definitely had to go the day I bought it
I recommend the sunrace RDM900 rear derailleur add new pedals it changes a lot of the problems you're probably having I know you're speaking about the front derailleur but I was just passing on a recommendation
@@jonlamontagne I had adjusted the whole of the drive set, and everything is smooth now. You have to get it PERFECT, but I have put over 200 miles on this thing stock, and it has been quiet except for the brake rotor which was fault of my own. I believe the last thing that I will have to upgrade now is the drive set, but these wheels and brakes still concern me. Let me ask this... The true of the wheels seem to have the spokes favoring one side on the front and the other side on the back. One half of the spokes are almost straight in to the hub, and the other side spokes are slightly slanted. They seem to be perfectly trued in THAT manner, but ive just never seen this before. Is that normal? I don't really feel any pulling or anything, possibly because the wheels are opposing each other in the angle of the spokes, but i feel like if they were both angled to one side of the bike it might feel like it wants to lay over, if that makes sense?

There were 2 at my local Walmart yesterday - small and medium. I'm 5'9" and the medium fits fine. Both tires were flat and the front tire steered left but at least the handlebar wasn't installed backwards. The handlebar is flimpsy, Shimano Tourney is trash, the shifters were stiff but at least the mechanical brakes didn't squeak. The frame was iffy but at least there were enough mounts on the fork and frame except none on the downtube which made no sense. $248 is a decent price for fair-weathered riders who want to try out gravel riding but not for me. Too many upgrades for my liking which add up to a brand name entry-level bike in the end. I will pass.
Can you give an example? The only thing that is cost prohibitive is upgrading the rear cassette. Otherwise I can’t find a bike with this value until I hit $700??

Yeah, I couldn't either. I kept checking twice a day and then on Saturday morning they were in stock, I ordered immediately. Keep checking. I already upgraded some parts and it's much better. Brakes are shit though.

@@amit_serper picked one up yesterday, had to travel 45min to another Walmart out of town! Worth it so far!
@@MaestroMvn your question wasn't for me but I did pick one up a day ago and out of the box I'm changing the saddle. Rear breaks where a little slack and rear derailer too. A few adjustments clicks tighten them up now she's like butter. Next upgrade is pedfles. Got some budget aluminum spike peddles coming!
