No, this vehicle has minor claims in the past . Nothing major .
Gonna have a piston knock in a month
Depends if it was well maintained. The 2014 model year had a new 2 litre 4 cylinder which was definitely more reliable than the smaller more problematic 1.8 litre in the earlier elantras. It is however still a Gdi engine, which is prone to engine issues when it isn’t properly maintained, carbon buildup and oil consumption very common when they aren’t taken care of.

I just picked up one today and it's a great little car so far, I love the look of the interior as well, mine I think has a special package in it or something that was optional because mine has a bigger infotainment screen and My gear shifter lights up on my 6-speed
