I have one of these. I absolutely love it. Sounds awesome and I get a lot of control with the wider neck.

The difference in the Relic job between these 1st Edition 2008 models (which i also have) to the latest 2020's versions is staggering. The later models relic job looks like absolute crap...

The 620 is one RIC’s best guitars. The body is very attractive. They sound amazing. They are small and that keeps the solid body light in weight. RIckenbacker started making electrics before anyone else. The company has continued to follow their own path remaining faithful to the original 1931 pickup design. Very broad ranged. Most people don’t take the time to work with the guitar’s (and amp’s) settings to get a balanced sound. The tone is very precise and requires extra attention. They are capable of a lot of treble but have tone knobs to balance the sound. They are unlike any other guitar. They are not trying to be different, they come by it historically. Bravo Rickenbacker for staying their own course. Many people who don’t use them don’t understand them. They take a little time and like practicing it is worth it. lol. I own several and love them. The quality is absolutely top shelf down to the details. In an age of copy-cat guitars, they are an exception.

I own this exact guitar, I bought it through Guitar Center. I played in a Journey Tribute band & saw it on the rack, being a Neal Schon & Journey fan, I pulled the trigger, it will be with me till I pass.

Where did you get the black pick up slot for the bridge pick up after you removed the cover?

That guitar, my God. Is The guitar Of my Dreams. I dont care if It is difficult to play in some areas on The fretboard. I love It. I mean if you play Classical guitar and you play this Jackson concorde you are able to play It or its more easier I think. I love The sound, The sustain, The style, i mean wow. I love Classical guitar, i love les Paul custom so this guitar..... Just wow.

I recently bought a 2014 LP custom shop. I think it’s a rare bird, Heritage cherry sunburst with a 60’s neck, left handed, unplayed, perfect condition. I love it but, though it was the best LP until I found out there’s a Supreme. To anyone in the know, which is better? Is mine a rare bird? How do I get it appraised? Thx in advance.

Here's the strange thing, i have a Gibson 335, Epiphone 335 Dot, just picked up my first Casino, it's a 2018. I mostly play Blues as well! I prefer the sound over my 335's. I am now upgrading bridge, Tailgate, nut, Tuners, electrics, pickups. So glad i got to find out how great they are! It's like starting over again.

I have this exact guitar, and you don't see too many. I purchased it in Toronto back in 2005 or so, and it's my all-time favourite. Mine came with a gold tremolo bar and I notice the one the the video is silver. What a beauty.

I had this guitar. Someone broke into my house and stole every piece of music gear. I owned including this guitar about 10 years ago. I’ve never been able to find one like it since. Until now, but I can’t afford to replace it unfortunately. It cost me about $1000 when I bought it in the 90s, but now is at least $3500, and sadly, I cannot justify spending that much on a Guitar at this point in my life. Sigh. A curse upon thieves.

the mechanical keys on the headstock are not original. In fact, on the original ones, "FENDER JAPAN" was engraved.
