    Song was sold to a country singer that changed the song slightly. This is the original posted here a year before it was released by that country singer.

    I’m a service tech for a professional company…. I would NEVER recommend sucking the pressure switch in to get it to fire. Can be VERY dangerous. If the exhaust is clogged the board will think it’s not… and you will get a mini explosion.

    Mine was just goop clogging the hose for the pressure switch in the nipple on the port on the fan. Just cleaned it out with a piece of wire and it’s all fixed for no out of pocket cash. My nipple and hose are a very small diameter.

      Could leak that way into the wall. Especially the bottom. There’s a reason they tell you to do it this way with the strips by manufacturer.

    Your video helped a lot. Lennox furnace, 3 blinking red lights. I removed the tube between the pressure switch and the combustion air inducer. I ran the pipe cleaner through the tube, no blockage. then I took the pipe cleaner reamed out the hole in the combustion air inducer where the tube connects. I think I dislodged a piece of corrosion that may have been blocking the air flow. I heard the piece of corrosion flop around inside when the inducer motor started and then the furnace fired up.

    • @bryanksees
      @bryanksees Před 2 lety

      Fan not kicking on could be thermostat issue. Or fan issue itself. Or could be a board problem. Sorry so late.

    Mine also fixed. Stem#2 - check your inlet and outlet air. The inlet pipe has some metal mesh and it was all covered with snow. No wonder it build up pressure. Now it's all back running. Outside is 0F and going deep down to -10F tomorrow...

    Just want to take a minute to thank you and thank you CZcams. I fixed my furnace, Probably saved $500 - $1500. Control board was blinking 3x and induction fan kept going on and off itself. Armstrong furnace. I’ll explain the price range shortly. But it’s your video and another video that really helped after watching about 10 videos! You and this other person explained it very well. With that basic knowledge and understanding of functions, I was able to isolate the problem. Thanks again, read on for details :) If you have the will and ability to problem solve and research, it will save you a lot of money. So $600, the technician said was my problem, the control board. I said all you have to do is unplug and plug things, I can do that myself but since you’re here can u give me a better price. And the key question, “is this going to fix it?” I understand the answer, but I don’t like it, “we will only know once we do it”. I felt this was a fix but will lead to other issues/charges. So I paid their trip/diagnostic charge, thank u. I bought and swapped the control board myself. Control Board only $125. Dedicated about a day to educate myself. Found out, it was NOT the control board, so I have a spare now, in case. Turned out to be a short in my thermostat wires. Lucky for me it was right where the furnace was, I don’t know if the installer or other technicians that came before & did this on purpose but there was an open wire touching the side of the furnace. This is the furnace side close to the wall, so it was kind of tucked in between. I felt wow this is HVAC milk money, like a shady ponzi mechanic. But then again, there’s a slight chance it was random. Also want to mention the companies that I called are all 4-5 star, google reviews with many reviews.

    Did the suck test on the pressure switch and it checked ok. Put my shop vac on blowing and blew back through the exhaust pipe, took the small hose off and blew through it, reassembled and presto we have heat. the clue to test the pressure switch was valuable. I could have bought a new part and still had the problem. Thanks for the help
