Gap semester! (Everyone needs time to stop, think, plan and enjoy life)
zhlédnutí 1,7KPřed 3 lety
I want to persuade every student to take a gap semester or year. People need time to relax but also think about what they’re going to do in the future. I am filming outside at Korea University. The weather was so beautiful and the leaves vibrant. Visit Korea during autumn! It’s my favorite season in Korea. Korean word of the day: 휴학 (hue-hak) meaning taking a semester (or more) off of school. C...

Hello, I would like to ask how much time is needed to prepare for GRE exam? I have likely B2-C1 English and math isn't that much of a problem for me. And Thank you for this video
Thank you dear, I need to study by books, not the course thank you
Awesome content!
How can do recap the gre vocabulary? And how to arrange the speed of each section? (like single choice and double or multiple blanks and reading comprehensive part....etc) thanks a lots.
how many hours a day did you study like can we have an in depth of what the studying calendar looked like
I do really like your video, thanks Jeeyoung! Greeting from Peru. :)
SUPER HELPFUL!!! thank you
The video was informative!! But the text completion from the 5lb are crap! That kind of vocab is hardly asked in the actual GRE.
That was helpful. Specially tip about reading on American history to improve essay writing. I am starting to prep for GRE and plan to give it in 2 months
Hello I've been following your this video and really liked your tips. My question is how much word did you learn a day. Did you learn till the exam day?. I don't know. I'm struggling about vocab. 😓
Very informative vedio dear. Which book we read on the basic reading comprehension? I think you have skipped this section. Kindly reply me as quickly as possible.

Aw thank u! And yes I am Korean!
Hey can you tell me what is the latest edition of Manhattan 5lb book
Is there an online GRE textbook? Please link me to it
As far as I know, there is no online GRE textbook. You can check some GRE questions on the ETS site and if you buy a book from Princeton, Kaplan etc. there are some model tests on their websites.
This is very helpful as the same areas you were struggling, I am struggling as well! I really want to get this done with but its really nerve-wracking!
thank you .
hloo, Thanks for sharing your experience and u look lovely😉😉😊😊
Hello sister Can u help me a little for the GRE
I am from India But I want some guidance from u
I'll have to give this and similar videos a watch when I'm done reading it for my book club, because I'm 5-6 chapters in and I've never disliked a book more. Not sure if you're interested in reasons, and I've been told it lightens up a bit when you're past the halfway point, but so far it's just non-stop, unbroken oppression, misery, and hopelessness that you don't get a break from, incredibly predictable writing, blind people portrayed as utterly helpless, and cardboard-thin characters for the government officials and soldiers, who mostly feel like the villains in a fanfic written by a 12 year old. Oh, and I hear there's indepth descriptions of sexual assault. Good times. It's not even the darkness of the book that bothers me -- I've read everything from a lot of Stephen King's works to The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah (an incredibly gritty book about a dysfunctional family in a village deep in the Alaskan wilderness), and Idas Dans, an incredibly sad Norwegian book about a teen girl dying of leukemia, so I'm no stranger to dark books. It's just... sorry, but I just actively dislike this book and I find myself having to force myself to listen to it. But sure, the author has won a Nobel prize so it has to have some redeeming qualities. Guess I'll keep trucking.
Yes! I love humanities as well and I’m here in California where everything is so effing expensive so there’s a lot of pressure to “come up” . I’m so glad this book helped you get an objective view on yourself it’s a very underrated trait to have nowadays it seems. Love your video!!
Oh my god, you're soo cute 😍🤗🫂
Jeeyoung!! This video was very helpful!! Thank YOU!!!
Thank you so much. I fond it very helpful. Especially, what resources to buy.
Thank you so so much for your video~
thanks a lot, it was good help
Thank you so much for taking time to make this amazing informative video.
Manhttan 7lb is a really good book too! It has a ton of problems per math topic and it’s verbal is absolutely killer practice as well!
Either a 7lb & 5lb? Is 7lb latest edition than 5lb?
@@MuhammadUmar-wi1yh There is no 7lb book, its Manhattan 5LB itself.
Hi 👋 thanks for the video. I would like to know if you studied 'word roots' for the GRE?. It seems to be difficult 😕
So glad I randomly bought the right one xD
I liked your video on Gre strategies , i have 5lb book of manhattan already with me and don`t have any problem with quant section but please help me with how to tackle with text completion and sentence equivalence as i have doubts related how to use known vocab words [that is how to use known vocab words in these type of questions] and is princeton really useful than manhattan in tackling verbal section.
Excellent points and tips, this deserves way more views than it has. I really wish you were a GRE teacher. 🙌
Hi Lee, This was very informative video. Thankyou for this <3 . Also, i wanted to know how much time did u spend preparing for GRE? Two months? Were you working full time while preparing? How much was your score when u took first mock test before starting to prepare? I am sorry for all these questions but this would motivate me...Thanks in advance.. Much love!!!
I spent ab a month and a half preparing but I was looking at vocab before that. My mock test score was like 280? Im not sure if I rmbr properly
Thank you 😊 for the very honest review.
Thank you so much for this video, very helpful.
