Hey guys, Angie here!
I want to welcome you to my channel. On here you'll find lots of behind the scenes, 'how to' vids and small hacks I've learned along the way.
I am far from a professional carpenter or full blown wood worker, but I do know how to get around in a wood shop and I know my tools. Most of my experience comes from either being self taught or watching my dad work as a boiler mechanic.
I have an amazing online store where I sell custom wood boards, jewelry, home décor, accessories and more! I work well with my hands and i love all things wood!
As i mentioned before, I'm still learning-- so if you have any tips, I'd gladly take them!
Happy watching amigos.

In other words will this print the registration marks ?
Yes! Without a problem! 😎
If I'm printing from silhoutte as a print n cut or cricut can I use this printer for them n if I had a wide cutter ?
Yep! I printed a 24” x 15 sticker on this printer and I used my Silhouette Cameo 4 pro (24”) to cut it out. It prints the registration marks without an issue. 🌸 I just set my work area or cutting mat to 24” x 24” on my silhouette studio software.
I bought this printer to make magnetic car signs. I read and understood that it could accept the weight of the magnetic vinyl I will be using. Do you have any input on this?
Oooo! Interesting idea. Never heard of it printing on magnetic paper! How thick would that be? I know that I can print on 300gsm paper which is pretty thick cardstock- but my only concern would be the print finish on the glossy side. Since this printer is Inkjet. When I printed on poster board paper, the paper had a slight gloss/wax feel to it which caused the print to come out slightly wet. But I set it aside and let it dry, and problem solved. Now, how big are you looking to make the car signs? Because if anything, you can always go the sublimation route. They have an F series that strictly for sublimation and it goes up to 24” wide… but that’s something you may have to really think about. It’s pretty simple to sublimate onto magnetic sheets- but you’ll then Have to worry about buying a bigger heat press machine which equals more money- which is probably the opposite of what you want to do. Lol I’d do more research. But that is a brilliant idea!! I’ve heard UV printers are pretty great with printing on anything- including acrylic sheets, glass, plastic, etc. DEFINITELY HOLD ON TO THAT IDEA, it’s a great one.
What is that machine you are cutting the mdf board?
Unable to see them in description
It’s a GlowForge Plus laser cutting machine
will you ever do a tutorial on these? I seem to have to finesse mine so much to get the holes to line up
Maybe I will one day… 🌸
Great tutorial! would make a great kit to sell also.
Great idea! Maybe one day!!! Do you mean like every piece?
pretty amazing. I did get a peek of this on your shorts. Keep up the great work!
Thank you beautiful! Much appreciated. 🌸😊
does this print on canvas?😊
Yes it does! The specific canvas it prints on is polyester canvas. The one I used I got from Amazon. Heres a link to a video i made after 'Test printing on 5 paper types" -- The canvas test print was included here. Hope this helps: czcams.com/video/G-6xto_ibek/video.htmlsi=3AaA2E23DEvoZ4vF
@TheFreckledCraftsStudio thanks, is that Canvas durable? I want to get into the printing and selling not sure if this is good approach. Any thought?
@@michaelgyimah9731 in my opinion it is. Its a great quality from what I've seen. Its great when I fold and staple onto the canvas frame. But when you say durable, what do you mean? If it smudges, rips or stretches? I recommend doing some more research on 'large format printer canvas rolls'-- They may have different canvas rolls that may be exactly what you want. It also depends on the kind of printer you have.
Can the spiral coils also be used for this machine ?
Yep!! Although this machine doesn’t specifically wind it on, you can put it on manually. 🌸
Very nice where can I find that image I need it for a wedding design
Which image? The floral or the stand? I sell the stand and the floral design svg file on my website. www.thefreckledcraftsstudio.com/shop/The-Chapel-File-p601076395

Hello. Such an amazing video. Do you know if it can print on wax paper? Also known as grease-proof paper? It's a food wrap paper
Thanks! Great question. I’m 50/50 on that one because firstly, I’ve never tried it and secondly, grease proof paper, which contains some wax- may not hold the ink too well. But!!!!!! Maybe try taping a piece of wax paper to regular printing paper, try printing and allow it some time to dry. Maybe that’ll work. I can try it here and let you know how it goes!
Such a great video!!
Thank you!!! 😊
what printable vinyl did you use? Please more videos of the T2170 I just got mine and need to learn all about this printer. 🫶
Hey!!! I used this one: amzn.to/45y8hS9 - got it on Amazon. I’ll definitely make more vids for this printer! Stay tuned 🥰
Thank you so much for all the detail. It is a really well done video for someone like me that wants to do the binding this way. Super helpful 😊
You are so welcome! I’m glad it was helpful 🌸
Hi, I really enjoyed your video. It was very informative! I have a quick question: based on your experience, how is the ink consumption for this printer? Like approximately how many prints can you get from a single set of ink cartridges? I reached out to Epson's official support, but unfortunately, they couldn't provide an answer.Thank you in advance!
Thank you! I’m glad you found it informative. So, I’ve only had this printer for a few months now. When I first unboxed it, the printer came with ink cartridges- and I used those cartridges for the whole “ink registration” process at the beginning. After the ink registered, I was left with less than 50% of the ink (all 4 cartridges) - So for that first round of ink, it only lasted me 2 months (I barely printed with it)… I recently bought new ink, and I’ve been keeping track so that I can have that information for myself and let you guys know too. So far, I’ve printed for a few weeks and my cartridges are still full. I hope that helps, but I definitely will keep you posted.
@@TheFreckledCraftsStudio Thank you so much for the detailed response!

@@TheFreckledCraftsStudio Thanks so much!!
You’re very welcome.
When is it?
In a week or so 🥰🌸
Can this be replaced with acrylic instead of rubber?
Do you mean that instead of stamping with rubber, you’d be stamping with acrylic?? That actually sounds interesting, would be interesting to see how that would turn out. I don’t think it would work as good as the rubber, but you may still get a similar shape (stamp) when pressed. Also, the acrylic may not hold the ink as good as the rubber does because acrylic has a slight shine to it which causes ink/paint to not completely cover it … I’m actually going to try that! You may be on to something! 😂😆

You’re very welcome ☺️ It’s called the Silhouette Cameo Pro
Hello thanks for videos. I am looking for a 24 inch printer. I have the F570 Sublimation printer. Do you mind sharing where you purchased your printer and do you like the printer? Thank you
Hey girlie!!! The printer was a gift from my husband-- he bought it directly from Amazon. I LOVE this printer. It's a pretty great printer once you learn your way around it. my only "con" is that it doesn't do borderless printing, but it's not a deal breaker for me. The majority of the stuff I print are slightly smaller that 24" any way, so I usually end up cutting off the edges. Other than that, the printer is awesome! The vividness and quality of the colors/print are top notch. I don't have any complaints. It prints on many types of papers. brochure paper, regular copy paper, poster paper, vinyl, banner paper, canvas, scrim-- thickness can go from 20lb paper (copy paper) to about 300 gsm... and the fact that it holds 17" to 24" wide rolls, is also great. Thats my honest take on this printer. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Tha ks for responding. I appreciate you

Hi, does the print get damaged by water like a regular ink jet print? Great video, by the way
Thanks friend! & Yep, it does. To protect your print, laminating it would be the way. What are you making?
@TheFreckledCraftsStudio I'm interested in making posters & and printing pictures on canvas, but I'm considering this printer or an eco solvent printer. I just love the quality of Epson printers
@@alvarohernandezEVO Nice. Yea, as for quality with this printer, SUPERB! Great quality on canvas, as you saw in the video. Sticker paper, scrim vinyl, poster paper, and a couple more. I love it. Hope you find what you’re looking for. 😊👍🏽

You’re very welcome! & thank you, I truly appreciate that 🌸

Yep!! It can. They actually sell scrim vinyl rolls for these printers. FastPlot Outdoor Scrim Vinyl Banner- Waterproof 15 mil 400g - 24inch x 60ft Roll - 2inch core
@@TheFreckledCraftsStudio welp that just sealed the deal for me I’m buying it❤️❤️❤️
what kind of cutter do you have, and can you make a video of cutting something that you've printed? (like you talked about in this video but didn't show) thanks!
The cutter is built into the printer. Theres no separate cutter. Prior to printing, you can check the “auto cut” box to have the printer cut after printing.
May I ask the max thickness gsm or lb weight this printer can take please?
I responded on your other comment, take a look. 🌸
I want to print on fine art paper with it, may I ask the maximum paper thickness gsm it prints for posters?
Hmm good question. So far I have only printed on 90-170gsm. So I’m not too sure. I did some research and found that this specific printers may print on poster paper that’s 300 gsm
@@TheFreckledCraftsStudio thank you so much. On its spec is says .27mm which is normally around 250-260gsm depending on the paper. But if upto 300gsm, that would be amazing! I will mainly be trying the weight within its spec anyway. But it’s great to have the option. You are a star! ⭐️

Great project and tutorial. I was just thinking that I hadn’t seen one of your videos in a while and then bam, new video pops up. ❤
Lol! The editing for this video took me soooo long! 😂 I’m surprised I still have hair. Also, I’ve been uploading more shorts than these tutorials. I appreciate you! 🌸
How did you mount to the wall?
I used the 3m command strips. Link: amzn.to/3xeGc5e … held it up until I finally took it down- about a year or two.
Question: I did not set up my new printer using wireless printing, I am using the USB connection, if it matters. When I switch from roller paper to (example) 11X17, and then go to print my document, do I have to change the settings on the printer touch screen, or does it read it automatically when I hit print?
Yes. The paper settings should be changed on the touch screen as well.

I notice that the light strip is UV "LED" - will that cure the kind of resin used on small jewelry pieces? I want to make a much smaller box, like a shoebox but along the same lines. Great job!
It took longer to cure, but it eventually did. With these weaker light strips, it took 3 full days to cure.
Also, if you’re going to do jewelry, I highly recommend getting a nail uv lamp. They work really good. I use them for small jewelry.
Can you print borderless print?

Hey! All the links for the papers used in this video are in the description box. Thanks
I’m a bit confused. You said that you printed with your silhouette, but I thought you used a sublimation printer to print the designs- Could you clarify?
Hey! Sure, I can clarify. So I designed it on the ‘Silhouette Studio software’ (font, swirls and word placements) then printed that design out with my sublimation printer (Epson eco-tank)
Sorry about that confusion, just rewatched the video and saw where I made the mistake. So both “Procreate & Silhouette Studio) are softwares I use to create designs. I use Silhouette Studio when printing. I was supposed to say “Silhouette Studio” instead of “silhouette” … did that help?
