@@heehaw8401 I live in the ATL metro area too, don’t mislead people with innacurate info. In fact, for a major city it’s not even in the top 10 when it comes to crime, the area is so vast also.

We do video the entire neighborhood but trim it down for time as well as minimize showing people who might be working or walking.

I have never seen a prison, and it has zero impact on the area. Buying a house in Buford is the best investment that you can make. My mother came here with nothing 10 years ago. She bought a condo, then had to let me sister live there, so she bought a house. She is very fortunate that she did. The condo is almost 3 times higher in value, and the house (bought about 6 years ago) has doubled.

True. I feel like I've experienced that in most places I've been with actual seasons. The saying always goes "If you don't like the weather her, wait 5 minutes". Haha

Thanks Joshua. Ya. There are a lot of corporate executives and pro athletes that live in the area. You see quite a few nice cars driving around.

Hi Sachin. Thanks for asking. Based on the map we've seen, yes, most of Thompson Mill will come under Seckinger. If your child currently goes to Mill Creek, they will have the option of staying at Mill Creek or going to Seckinger. We have 2 currently attending Mill Creek and they will be opting to stay there, but our youngest will be going to Seckinger once she is a Freshman. @@sachinshrivastava05 The focus of the school is going to be teaching children content more focused on AI and technology. As I mentioned, my youngest is planning to go there. She's in middle school as well right now. The new principal is the previous principal of Jones Middle School, Memorie Reesman. You can reach out to her for more information on the school at memorie.reesman@gcpsk12.org. I believe they are also planning to do some informational meetings at the middle schools to help answer some of those question we parents might have.
