Hi, i im trying to do a perf database backup, but when i click ok(not the schedule, i am doing "now" option), nothing happens. If at the next day (or at any time) i click "restore" the system says that there is not a backup file to restore, what i am doing wrong?
hi, did you give the backup file a name? if so can you verify its been created after clicking ok?

you can backup the performance db with these steps, I think this is what you meant but if not let me know Back up a performance database Backup of a performance database is a recommended practice. The backup performance database option is available for one or more storage systems, regardless of their registration status. About this task By default, only Trending & Planning (Historical) data is backed up. The performance databases backups should be stored in a safe location. Performance database backups can be restored (see Restore a performance database). To back up the performance database: Procedure Select . In the Settings dialog box, select Unisphere Databases > Performance Databases. Select a database from the list and click Backup. Enter a backup File Name(s) Optional: Select any of the following Data to Save: Last day of Diagnostics Named Real Time Traces NOTE: Historical is always selected and cannot be unselected.
