Would love to see you cover more Broadway Limited locomotives in general. The regular "Paragon4" models aren't brass and much more affordable. However, Athearn Genesis and ScaleTrains also make really good American models that you may want to check out 🙂

hi sam love the CZcams videos but I always wanted to see the tt120 come on stream but in all fairness this hobby have just got to greedy this chap that made videos for them was posting of things to come but as you said its going to be years down the tt120 line their greed just stinks in this binational climate I purchased some of there sets ab nd control systems but no more I think not letting that company you mentioned produce new stock was the greed showing through again and not allowing amazon or other retailers to stock and sell their sets is greed again so I was my hands with this company and have told them so sam all the best with your channel I do love it Edward

Not convinced that the Bachmann Rebecca will be worth the price given the prices of the existing Thomas range, but they could prove me wrong! As far as Rapido go with the tender connection, the solution on the Stirling Single was a multi-pin plug and socket with clips either side. Actually very easy to do and super reliable, so perhaps they have refined that a bit.

Also I think the N scale Gordon from Bachmann would be worth a mention. You done one for Rebecca yet didn't for him

I've changed my mind about TT scale now as it's virtually the same price as OO scale.

Those 2-8-0's have oddly different builders plates than "Alco"...comparing to my Bachmann GD4, and photo's of preserved engines in my area...that builders plate on the prototype photo looks an awful lot like the builders plate for Lima(Lime-ah) Locomotive Works, out of, you guessed it, Lima, Ohio. Might have been an Alco/Lima build just to streamline it, but still, that builders plate looks very off for an Alco plate (which is circular depending on how back you go, or a rounded rectangle) Rapido best make that change. And due to it being an American kreigslok (war locomotive), It's peeked my interest, just needs down scaled to N-scale...and yeah...looking at the photos...someone wanna get a hold of Rapido, 'cuz those are definitely Lima plates, not Alco. Bro, at time stamp 5:40, it even says "Lima"...

Hold on Sam. I cannot believe you have just talked through that Class 60 announcement without mentioning Cavalex. Are they still bringing their class 60 out?. Those Hornby LNER coaches work out as less than a Bachmann MK1!. With that in mind they are a bargain.

I'd be interested to see a review on Bachman's Rebecca. I'm actually considering picking one up some day, because she's my favorite CGI era character, and it'd be nice to know what the quality is like on her model.

I immediately preordered the S1, as I've wanted one for many years. Believe it or not, this will be the most affordable S1 model on the market, the small number of models currently available are from boutique manufacturers released years or even decades ago for well over $1,000.

Could you do a review on the Bachmann Thomas and Friends "Red Express Coaches"? And as well, if you do review them, I'd like to see you compare them to other Pullman-style coaches and compare things like value, detail, and performance. I do enjoy them, but for me at least, they feel pretty cheaply made. They're entirely plastic aside from the metallic wheels and feel like they have no weight in them aside from the body material itself and its large size. Lastly, speaking of weight, how do you measure their pulling power in "coaches", and what would the rating of Donald and Douglas be on your scale? I'm curious to know because I know for a fact mine would struggle and screech if I made them pull more than 4 standard-sized express coaches each given their lightweight nature.

BLI getting very good value by letting you know about their S1, given the huge amount of comments it is getting. The Blue Goose gift looks to be paying off so hoping you get an S1 gift.

If you get an Accurascale 60, may I suggest doing a comparison video with the older Hornby model? As for the Pennsy S1, as much as I like that locomotive, she would probably be too large and impractical for my layout. I think I'll stick with the S1 in Train Simulator.

Something I’ll never be able to understand is why they never made an 0-6-0 version of the 0-4-0 e2 to make it look semi-like an e2 and I think the answer probably is because that would take too much effort for Hornby. (yes, Ik there was an 0-6-0 clockwork Thomas-)

Accurascale make excellent models but are very poor communicators. I have a J67 on order which on their project status page is marked as ETA Q2 2024. However it is in the Tooling & Decoration stage, seeing how we are almost into Q3 2024 I can’t seeing it being on time. I have received absolutely no information from them on any delay, and yes, they already have my money. So consequently I am less than impressed. I have two of their Class 55s, a Class 37 and a Manor, and I am very happy with them all so have high expectations on my next purchase :) Thanks for your excellent work Sam, always informative and fun. Cheers.

My partner already pre ordered his S1, literally his favourite train. The Pennsylvania Railroad made some really ridiculous and frankly mental designs, so it's pretty great to see this one, probably the most extreme of them all, in particular get made in a more accessible model.
