I also lived there in the 70s. Glad you enjoyed the memories.
Do you know round about what year this was recorded? Thanks
Sorry but I don't know the year. it was an old 16mm film that I had. Glad you enjoyed the memories.
I have one of these cameras. There is a tape stuck in the pocket, when I open to eject the tape eject mechanics dont happen as they do in this video. unfortunate.
That's unfortunate, you are better to get someone that knows how to do this for you. It actually isn't anything complicated at all and will only take a couple of minutes . regards.
@@easytime7434 Yeah I will. I would learn how to myself but definitely don’t want to cause more damage.

Taughtq in a high school, took the students tramping in NZ. All safely learnt new skills, had some risks and heaps of fun. All gone now gps mobile phones eperbs. Every year we should go digital free globally for a week as sure as chickens lay eggs one day the entire scam will crash for a month.
Glad you enjoyed the memories.
I was born in Suva, Fiji (1956) On June 8, 1957 my father John Mitchell, was a crew member on the MV Sea Pearl. The engine room caught fire forcing her crew to abandon ship into 2 lifeboats. There was no loss of life. The only food in the lifeboat was a box of NZ apples, which supplied some nourishment and hydration. I cannot remember how long they were lost at sea. One day a small plane flew overhead and dropped something out of the window. The men rowed to it and found a tobacco tin with a scribbled map, showing the way to the Wewak River, where they were led to a Catholic Mission, where my father and his crewmates recuperated for one month. After a month, the crew members were flown home to their respective countries. I'm assuming they were at sea for a week or more, especially as they had to recuperate for one month! My mother told me the shipping company's owner knocked on her door one morning to advise her that the ship was lost at sea and a search had begun. I can't imagine what she and my father went through! I was 6 months old and my older brother was 2.5 years old! My father never returned to sea to work after that as he thought "I could have died and left my wife with 2 small children!) My parents immigrated from Suva, Fiji to New Westminster, BC Canada in 1964. He workedas aa heavy-dutyy machinist in BC, installing machinery into dams, pulp mills, and other large construction sites throughout BC. At the start of his retirement 1977, he built a 35' Bruce Roberts fiberglass sailboat, all by himself, and enjoyed his retirement sailing through the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island and inside the Georgia Straight in British Columbia, Canada with friends and family. My parents passed away in the port city of Nanaimo, BC I loved hearing my father stories about his adventures on the sea. My parents were adventurous and were married for 53 years. They're gone now and I miss them dearly. He taught me the love and respect of nature and the sea and she taught me to just keep on loving. I will always remember the Wewak River and would love to visit that area one day! Thanks for reading! Thelma Mitchell
I am glad you enjoyed the memories.
The light brightness control and the defuser got rid of most of the flickering but there is a little flickering left. I didn’t mind that as it shows it was a film that had been converted. A white background such as snow was probably the worst film I could have chosen as a sample.
Шикарная вещица!

This is good Holden. The classic Holden is lost in time and considered to be a vintage. The modern Holden looks very robust stylish and dynamic. Only thing that this car lost to others is the fuel consumption quite high

Thank you for providing this video, I have the same model camcorder and I needed to be sure of how to use it, so well done!
You're very welcome!
Same here😂
Thanks for that ! I decided to power up my old camcorder today - same model - and it worked for a while - then the play- rewind- forward - panel stopped lighting up - any ideas ? It had been plugged in for hours so not the main battery .
Maybe if you take the battery off the camera, and just try to operate it with the power lead. If that works you will know if it is the battery that is your problem.
