That'll be awesome if one cook the meat first with the taco seasoning. Then mix it with onion, potatoes, tomatoes and chills in the crockpot. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours, pour into casserole dish, sprinkle cheese and melt in oven or microwave.
absolutely can! I just like quicker meals with less steps but yes the slow cooker is great for earlier prep int he day!

Ok, this looks good but my mind just went a different direction… add a little bit of beans, corn to the mix, then the cheese, jiffy cornbread mixed up, pour on top, and in to the oven!! Loaded Mexican Cornbread Meal😱 I’m doing it!!😂 Thanks for the idea👍

Don't you usually peel the skin off of the potatoes they look like they still had the skin on.
I don't but you can. The skin has tons of nutrients.
