Good potential for a series of informative videos but please..... looking up into your face is not pleasant. Can't you have someone else hold the camera for you? Don't use a GoPro. Use an assistant. Thanks..
Amazing! Please make more like this :) I enjoyed this style of walking and capturing the vibes. PLUS you have nice voice to listen to
Huge shoutout to Montreal and the development team behind REM. Its so well executed, both Ottawa and Toronto have a lot to learn from Montreal about how to integrate a modern transit system.
We definitely have similar taste in cities, live in Montreal, love visiting Colombia and NYC.
I miss hero sandwiches! When I was growing up in NY there was nothing like an eggplant parmigiana hero. They were amazing!
Looks delicious. In New York City it’s a hero and outside the city it’s a wedge. In Connecticut it’s a sub. New York bagels are the best. Enjoy.
It would definitely be a sub here in Canada, too
Thank you so much for this!!!!
❤
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. If you stay, you should learn French as it is part of the culture. If you move to Japan, you should learn Japanese. If you move to Italy, you should learn Italian. Same concept for Quebec. I don't condone the rude behaviour of some French Quebecois, but you have to understand where it's coming from.
Great video. City Center is very impressive and is definitely a standout among shopping venues. Did you get to see the Shoppes at Bal Harbor or the Design District during your time in Miami?
I've been living in Antioquia for a decade, 3 years in Medellin, and 7 years en el oriente, and in the 10 years I've been living here, I've found the traffic to be the most dangerous
Mc'Donalds got closed down because the meat wasn't local or was improrted, something like that.
Low light mode looks slightly more crips when looking at some of the window frames, letters, etc. Much better than the iphone in low light....the iphone typically is good with good light (daytime). Did you play with any of the ISO settings? or kept everything on auto.
The REM fucking sucks just like everything in this godforsaken shithole of a city.
Depends on the pastries bakeries here don't bake cinnamon buns evenly mostly always raw tasting. The truth about McDonals closing down was that it was too expensive for them to ship in the ingredients
Hey Dan. You forgot my building The Livmore on Bleury and Rene Levesque. Always a pleasure to spend time in your video company though. You should make a video of old Montreal and the square beside Palais de Congrais with its beautiful park with fountain and my favorite boulangerie Ange

As an Icelander I like how your video shows a certain kind of beauty in the things we take for granted. I used to kiss my partner a lot behind the yellow lighthouse btw when we first started dating 😊
Building here. I liked your video!
Can I go with a dog in the bus and in the metro?
I don't think so. Maybe service dogs
Hi Dan, I hope you're doing well. You're a handsome, kind, and unique traveler. I just stopped by this channel of yours to simply watch this interesting video you uploaded almost 4 years ago. I decided to quit using Facebook too, which turned out to be so boring, useless, and irrelevant to me. That's why I decided to remove it from my cellphone forever probably. I'll likely come across countless meaningless things/news that are supposed to be engaged in if I redownload the app but it's unproductive for me because I've made a huge change in my life which is not to scroll on it as long as it is possible. It's already passed several months by the way. Take care and I'll see you again on your travel channel.

Just catch your video, really enjoyed it. I am from Massachusetts. Never been to New York.
Thats wild.. you live so close to new york
This video makes me miss home very much. Not many people show the casual everyday vibe of the city, especially in winter. Now that I am not there, I realize how much I miss it.

It is Día de Muertos 💀 in the states, Spanish speakers to whom Spanish is not their primary language have done a literal translation from English, Day of THE DEAD ≠ Día de los muertos.
Very nice video. I love seeing neighborhood things. Would love to see more.
Montrealer who also travels between MTL and NYC! Hi!!
Yes, Square Philipps. A new 62-story condo building in which I will be moving-in soon! :) BTW, the boy is really pretty.
Montreal!!!
Thanks for sharing Dan.
Who da man? Dan da man!
I admire your adventurous spirit and vlog style not being over produced with towering drone shots and constant corporate pluggery. Since the camera can't always depict relative height accurately, how tall are you? I would have guessed 5'11-6'0 just as a safe default. And since you're in NYC, it's One World Trade. 🗽
I enjoyed this rambling NYC video very much. Thank you 🇬🇧
Living in Quebec without learning french is a big lack of respect, and a lack of curiosity/culture. If i was to go live in germany, of course i would learn german even if most people know some english in Berlin or Munich. There are so many places in north american where people don't speak french that insisting on living only in english in Quebec is absolutely lazy and a colonizer mindset. I couldn't imagine living somewhere and be so distant from the local culture.

This was great!! Things are still recovering after Covid it seems. I wonder how many bars/clubs actually stay opened after 4am/5am. Dan, if you are free, go to Moma, Guggenheim and the plaza boutique. And, walk in Central Park during day time. Don’t stay inside Central Park after dusk. (You may have already been to the plaza boutique. I don’t remember watching that from your past videos. I don’t remember)
He lives in New-Brunswick. He has opportunity to learn French before going to Québec, he should do that. I live in NB and it's hard for me to fully respect anglophones in the Gloucester county (72% francophone as of last census) that don't even attempt to learn the language.
I visited New York for the 1st time last week, and I loved its an amazing city. By the way I live in Montréal too, nice content 👌 thanks for sharing.
Dan you make fabulous videos! Love them! I have to chuckle about the West Village and hiring people to stand in line! It is extravagant! I do love visiting but could never afford to live there. I love the NYU area so much!! 🙂
So tap out when leaving? Only tap in? What about other buses and trains?
Can you pay using credit card without needing to buy tickets? And do you need to tap out?
I recently read that 22% of Montrealers know more than 2 languages. I am in the process of joining this group as I am learning Spanish as my third language.
English, Xinhui, Cantonese, Toisan. The last 3 are different Chinese dialects.
Thank you for another journey with you Dan! Your Mum seems pretty cool too.
Question, can you explain with detail what the options do, the 75hz, 150hz, and next to the number 150hz there is another High Frequency Boost? When would I use them and for what? This is for the Rode Mic. Thank you
