But the smallest zipline building in Worlds Edge is harder to do than this with no ceiling. Even Faide building is easier that streamer building
so what exactly does this do other then be difficult to perform and still getting tracked by roller player with their feet

it's a directional superglide followed by a bhop like tap strafe

Unfortunately though this version of mantle jump is a lot easier than the ones you do in buildings, especially the TTV building... even if you get this right you are most likely to not succeed doing it in buildings
you aren’t wrong but you could easily place the zip a bit farther back once you’re a bit more comfortable+helps to get a feel for starters but since path zip speed is more than normal zip’s it’s not best to get to comfortable, second best place is solo que worlds edge and go to those buildings near the volcano (near ramparts ship), usually empty and it has normal zip line buildings to get better practice without landing fragment
yeah this is more just to get the feeling of it, I recommend just solo q into worlds edge to practice at lava city
