That is false, you can only say that if you consider the pedophilia cases that are considered by justice and police. The pedophile rings where the pedophiles are almost never caught are something entirely different. I live in Belgium, the Dutroux case is aperfect example of what i describe.

Forget about communities look at some more "traditional," nations. Here in Sri Lanka where I live most of the time the parents prevent their children from reporting rapes. And our nation is the most forward thinking in south Asia when it comes to matters like this (the less said about India and Pakistan the better).

I have seen babies and infants and toddlers and you will find they are like little angels. But at just a few years old their innocent minds start getting poisoned with lies and propaganda. Thou shall not bear false witness is exactly about that. Young minds are easily poisoned and it is very hard to reverse that when they have grown up. Even adults fall easy victim to lies and propaganda. Children believe fairy tales and everything their parents tell them. Some adults that cannot think critically, continue to believe. In a poisonous environment believing corrupts the innocent soul. People have naturally empathy. But people can be made to hate each other. Empathy is the basis of most of morality. Because indeed if you feel uncomfortable or abused or used, then you do not want to do that to somebody else. They also have to learn that money is the source of power and power easily leads to abuse, because it allows somebody to control others. So indeed a person in authority, is not a person whose behavior is proper or justified or right, necessarily. In fact it could well be the other way around. Children of course consider almost all adults a source of authority, People in power should be held to a higher standard therefore. So it was very very wrong not to take signs of sexual abuse seriously and not act early and meticulously. E.g., the Catholic Church really has done immeasurable damage, given the position of trust they enjoyed and their authority, especially in the presence of children.

I pray that God will comfort us all as we share the aweful pain youve endured..The sudden break into a normal day in Israel& within minutes, unbelievable horror, & blood shed.
