The Rondo is one of my favorite Mozart sonata movements of all times.

2:43 sounds like Beethoven. And its child mozart.
Plenty of detail and insight in this performance but the recording lets it down. Timpani and bass drum sound like they are in another room: the bass drum sounds like someone hitting a couch.
I would love to try composing a piece like this but I wouldn't know where to start
0:16 I always found it fascinating when listening and studying this score, and I don’t know why or the science behind it, but the first chord on Measure No. 3 sounds like someone asking a question.

Just because these pieces are easy to play and the mechanics in a grand makes it even easier is NOT an excuse to play fast and flowery like some Mozart piece. Disrespectful.

It bothers me when people just completely disregard the score in Haydn. He is like Beethoven especially in the middle/later sonatas.

Hadyn didn't have music notation software, I imagine it cumbersome to do it by hand
That is why I never composed when I was younger. I was too lazy to write everything down and I couldn't understand how these guys could do it!
They used a lot of shorthand (especially when sketching for themselves); It was basically like cursive to them. Then professional copiers would make more professional copies for publication.
Mozart anticipated his later self in this concert. It's almost like they got the KV number and chronology wrong.
