Stefan, I believe last week, the Association of Attorneys sent a letter to the Attorney General demanding an apology for what he said about their dept. Also, the DPP under the advice of Special Branch stated that the office that the government designated and is paying rent for, is not safe for the attorneys. It is a building that has other businesses in there. The area location of the building is not secure. The DPP is looking out for the safety of his personnel which has been supported by the Special Branch. The attorneys can be easily attacked or killed. This is why the office hasn't been occupied and the Government knows this. There has been only 58 attorneys and the Dept just got 10 more last week. There should be a minimum of 130 attorneys as per the DPP. I got this information from Ian Alleyne show, last week. So maybe you can check out the above information
Stephan i watch ur show every night. As a hospice Nurse Practitioner I so agreed with Dr Nadya Watson on death and dying in the palliative/hospice patients. Lots of teaching and education to the health care sector and and public sector. Its a part of medical education. And Stephan what you are saying is truly some of the encounters I met during those times. I usually has family meetings chaplain and social worker support. Its a broad topic on terminal illness and its takes a great toll on the patient and the family so much education is needed
Morning Mr. Reis, I saw on one of our local station news, a couple nights ago, the Minister of works & transport boasting about the near completion of the road from Valencia to Toco. Now I have no problems with improving road infrastructure to rural areas, but is this really a priority at this time, when commuters have to suffer, daily, heading from Port of Spain to San Fernando. Having to endure grid lock traffic because this govt cannot prioritize widening the highway from chaguanas to San Fernando. Instead they are focusing on completing a less trafficked road that, in my opinion, is not a major priority right now. We all know the purpose for this project, but given the daily suffering of commuters, is this a main priority right now? Also, those unsightly "reflectors" located by the Caroni, Munroe Road, Aranguez and Barataria overpasses, for years they have not been replaced or removed, just becoming an ugly and embarrassing sight. What are they doing about them? Is it because it was a project of a previous govt, this true to form existing PNM govt is reluctant to conduct any remedial works on these "reflectors." Finally, there has been an increase in road fatalities, some of which took place on the Solomon Hochoy highway. Why aren't the cable barriers being maintained? Are we to again infer that this was not a project of the PNM, so they couldn't care less? It would appear that this Rowley PNM narcissist government is no different from previous others.
I appreciate you and your show. We cannot hear the interview with the guy, no audio. Just want to let you know that your show always have problems with audio. Even when you were interviewing the young calypsonians live, you didn't turn back on your microphone. And your workers never let you be aware of it. Your director/audio person are not doing their jobs as they still upload videos with these audio problems. There are many videos like this. Check it out. Miss French is trying her best to contribute something positive, this us also helping her to stay on the right track but sometimes she may fall but we need to help pick her up and give her encouragement to move forward, do not condemn her.
Most of these fights are over boys. They should stop the mixture of genders in schools. Children can show a behavior home and another when they meet their school mates. It's a different breed of children now. Hold parents responsible to a certain extent because these kids are minors. The MOE is not setting out laws for these children to know the consequences of their actions, so fights will get worse, until a few deaths and lawsuits. The schools have no guidelines to follow. School days are no longer happy happy days. One day, some parent child will not return home. Very sad situation with schools these days. Dolly, do your job.
Why the police officer beating around the bush so,his friend need to know because some thing may happen alone the way to the police station.that is his right to ask and the officer know that by heart so he could of just said it while he is attesting the man and say also can you step some feet away please
I don't like BTB portion of the show on Wednesdays. We don't learn anything. Put on something more interesting that makes sense. Police laws in Trinidad are outdated.
