So glad when these things happen so me and my crew are aware. I don't see how the home plate up didn't see this it was all lined up with Second base to CF. Nobody take your eyes off the ball. 1b ump likely shifted home when home ump went to third and they took their eyes off the runner at 2b. That's too bad. Unfortunately they don't get video review like we are watching in Highschool. Nice field though. Very "old school look"🎉

He's safe but some things, such as sliding head-first into first seem to piss-off some umpires. Apparently this guy is one such ump. A challenge would prove inconclusive because of the dust storm. Runner should have run through the bag like most normal ball players.

This is why you ALWAYS run through 1st base. I would have been benched if I ever slid into 1st base.

If you watch real close, his hand touches the bag before his foot. It is dusty as heck.

Safe. Initially just at normal speed, then stopped the frame where the slider looks to be touching the bag and the pitcher is a half foot away.

The runner was 100 percent out!!! Slow the replay down and you can see foot is down on base, the ball is in the glove, and runner is at least a foot away from base!!! Terrible call.:-(

He was out but by a VERY VERY small margin
