i ordered one of those wrenches and i can't get my disposal to turn at all. I didn't want to use too much force and break something
:27 WHY!? If the garbage disposal is unplugged from the outlet, turning off the breaker practically changes nothing.

Impossible
It’s not long enough to engage the compression nut. I had to grip the compression ring with some pliers and pull it forward a little bit first. Was able to get it to budge a little. Then the puller tool worked the rest of the way.
