Is this product sold in the US Texas
Yes it is! Please contact Valor fireplaces who're the USA distributor.
My instruction booklet only came in French. Can I get one in English..?
Please navigate to the British Fires website which have all the available instruction manuals for download.
Is the open unit a lot cooler on the outside? I have some concern over where I want my flute to be installed on the outside of my house, where someone potentially could reach out and touch it (I know, they shouldn’t. But a concern nevertheless).
As the twin wall is insulated the heat is contained to a certain extent but the flue will still get hot no matter what unit you go for. Precautions should be taken in regards to distance to combustibles as advised by manufacturers guidelines and regulations in your country. You could look at getting a flue cage or boxing it in maybe?
Is it possible to have wood fire with the flue going up into a false ceiling, right angle bend, flue continuing to the outside wall and then another right angle bend directing the flue vertically?
Hi Martin, this is an electric fireplace. You should contact a local HETAS engineer for installation advice on your project.
I love it! I would like a bigger size
Please contact us and we can find a larger sized double sided wood burner for you.
Many thanks for review Which one is better this or dimplrx bold or orion
We highly recommend this fire!
@bonfirestoves many thanks for your reply is good price compare with orion which is double price
It's £2,395 inc vat. For the sizing and what you get, it is very good!

Thanks for the video .... just trying to sort costs and my budgets deciding on Heta 45 or newborne and costs for the Flueon the outside so really helpful
Not a problem Stuart, we’re glad it was insighful 😊
Does the glass stay nice with this unit like it does with the 30?
Yes it sure does!
Nice review.. We live in rural North East Scotland where the winters can be challenging. We have had our Morso 6843 for two weeks now and it is proving to be one of our better buys. Surprisingly economical with firewood and the heat it produces is perfectly acceptable without being overbearing. This stove works perfectly well using one or two pieces of log at a time. Our one is situated in a corner of the sitting room. Very pleased indeed.
Great to hear the feedback and we’re glad you’re enjoying your Morso! It sureis a great stove!
Considering one of these for .... corner of a sitting room in Noth East Scotland. Would love to know how you've found it after 3 months.. 🙂.
Has been chugging away in our showroom every other day and it's faultless. A great quality log burner perfect for the harsh winters!!
@@mungocarstairs3856 6/7 months in and we love it. Very important to prestock wood to let it season and dry before use. Actually our flue goes through the sitting room ceiling and a bedroom ceiling exiting the roof. That bedroom heats up nicely (it's situated in a cupboard). The whole flue is double insulated as per regulations. Simple to operate and quick to heat up.. Mpdern woodburning stoves are so much more economical to run than older ones used to be. Would not be without it now.
@@thow7838 thanks for the update! Sounds very similar to us - flue through combe of bedroom above. Definitely sold on the idea, just need to get some sense out of the local planning authority who tell us their published rules on this are not correct...
Have you any videos or pictures off that fire with the sides covered up,, I.e just face on.. my 55” tv is approximately 1225 wide and looking it to be in line as much as possible
Unfortunatley, we don't as of yet! We do however have this on display in our showroom with the two sides covered up, making for a 1 sided fire.
Once you’ve mastered a Norwegian top down light, you will never light this way again.
Also a great method!
Well presented and a great looking fire!
Thank you Gordan! We think so too!
Nice informative video! What is the width of this electric fire? It should be 87cm by the name if I'm not mistaken, but looks more like this is the 120cm version?
This version is 87cm.
Thank you for the video. Can you use part twist and part push fit?
Personally we would avoid any twist TW flue, just because it makes it awkward to line the sections up. It is also recommended to use the same system throughout.
Thank you! I have a twin wall system coming (HETAS approved) they state distance to combustibles 50mm.. how hot should I expect the outer layer to be? I am passing it through a combustible floor with a ventilated firestop system.. just trying to assess if I should keep it further than 50mm…
Hi, really, there is no simple answer to your question, sorry... If you read the spec for the TW flue it will have a specification, within this specification, it will tell you at what temperature etc... the DTC (distance to combustible materials) it was specified at, you need to read and understand this, because it is possible that the 50mm (or whatever distance) to combustibles is calculated at differently. As an aside, dont forget that the flue outside temperature will be hotter the closer you are to the heat source! One of the most important elements to get your head around is the DTC is generally calculated in "Free flowing air" soo, if you incarcerate the flue in a confined space without air flow you will get what is know as the "Oven effect" - which means that like an oven, the whole space heats up to the same temperature as as the flue and the DTC ceases to apply. Do hope this helps
@@bonfirestoves thank you! This really helps.. to mitigate the oven effect i could install more ventilation in the boxing in of the flue or insulate it further with ceramic fiber around the outside of the flue?
Can I ask if you ask if you are HETAS approved ? I dont want to come across as a jobs worth but you have to be qualified(in England) to H006 to install twin wall www.hetas.co.uk/trade/training-courses/h006-system-chimneys/
Hello from the US! I found your video quite interesting! Does the Barbas Bellfire not need an electric blower to circulate the air out? The wood stoves here in the US require a blower bc they generate radiant heat, whereas the stoves in the Europe seem to give off convection heat? The stove design here seem backwards to me compared to what you're showing. Would be great if you could clarify. Thank you.
It uses natural convection so it doesn't rely on an electrical supply.
Good video, i would lie to shop around for the stove and the correct approved parts preferred by the installer's, been given quotes for a simple small stove that exceeds 4,000. may as well pay for the gas and electric bill. Do you do anything on the recommendation of stone hearths.
Hi, you are right, it can take a while to recover the costs of a full installation, when compared to your electricity and gas bill - unless of course you have a convenient fuel supply. However, interestingly, we are finding that one of the main motivators for our customers is "having control of their heat source" , so energy security, rather than just the cost

Hi is the housing / mantlepiece available for the 1600 ? What’s it called ? Cheers
Hello Carlos, yes bespoke sized suites such as the Winchester and Brockenhurst suites are available made by British Fires for the other sizes such as the 1600.
£2500 for an electric fire with some fake wood, glass panels and a painted chipboard surround - are you having a laugh!
The fire itself is £1,599 with beautifully handcrafted ceramic logs featuring incredibly realistic flame effect technology viewable through the three large glass panels. The suite is made from MDF as apposed to cheap chipboard and it is painted in a marble effect, which looks realistic and very hard to tell apart from real marble. We would suggest viewing one of these fires in person to really see their full potential. A top of the range fire at a great price considering installation cost will be minimal. It is easy to install and can be achieved by any competent diyer.
@@bonfirestoves at least make from real wood for that price not MDF. Wayfair have something similar for 1/10 of that price.
@@vvv2k12 Hi VVV2K12, MDF is lightweight which is perfect for a floating suite. Moreover, it provides an ideal finish for the most realistic marble paint effect to be applied. It really is not necessary to use 'real wood' for this. The British Fires suite is crafted to fit this fire exactly and has mitered corners for a high quality finish. We would recommend visiting your local British Fires dealer showroom to really understand the true perks of this products suite and electric fireplace.
I’ve picked my fire up and I’m fitting it to my new media wall soon, will I have to board around it closing it in and then plaster everything while it’s in place?
Hi george, yes a wooden or metal stud work will have to be built around the fire. We recommend to position the fire and use it whilst to ensure that it is set in your preferred viewing position. Then, build your media wall around the fire whilst it is in location to guarantee a flush fitment. Finaly, you can board and plaster around the stud work.

Hi, what do you use or sell to put a twin wall Flue through single storey warm flat rood extension (300mm Cavity) Rood is also fibreglassed, so how do you make it watertight and how do you get the Flue stays on the roof to fix to the fibreglass roof without penetrating the roof with screws, this losing your watertight integrity? Is there a kit you sell for both?
@@adamfisher6413 It is not a kit we sell neither is it a diy job. In the end, its not really any different to a felt or a rubber roof. The flashings would be installed in conjunction with who is doing the roof. You don't need screws but it may be sensible to have an upstand in the end. Where abouts are you based?
HI how noisy is this? nowhere can I find decibel rating for it. Thanks
This electric fire is fairly quiet in comparison to others but of course with all electric fires you will hear some heater noise.
Can you please tell me which media package is in the fireplace you are showing. Thanks!
Hi Gina, please get in contact for our bespoke electric fire media wall packages that include this fire!
Where does the heat come out?
The heat comes out of a slim horizontal fan heater located towards the top of the glass which provides a 1-2kw heat output.
are these infra red fires
No they're not
Will this be available in the USA? Thanks
The RB73 will most probably be available in the USA in the near future.
Can you get the silver one in a black colour and can you get the twin wall flue systems in them? How much are they for the 5” ones?
Yes, chrome twin wall flue pipe can be painted black using heat resistant paints, advisable by a specialist paint shop. Different manufacturers flue system quality drastically differs depending on the metal quality and thickness, the process in which the flue is produced and finished and the connection used to join the twin wall togethor which is reflected by the different price points and will determine how effective and how long your flue system will last. Please contact us for pricing of our flue systems for your fireplace or stove installation.

when is a door not a door when its ajar
Good question!
Beautiful fire. I really love the look of it. Can’t understand the instructions- I have a bright blue light - hardly authentic and I’m sure I can get rid of it but no idea how. I also can’t turn the heater in - thinking I have settings on but no idea.
Hello Vida, when referring to a bright blue light we understand this to be one of fuel bed options. If this is the case, it can changed to one of the many other fuel bed colours via the remote control. The operating instructions, which are included with the New Forest 870, explain what buttons to press to change the fuel bed colours as well as operate the heater for this fire.
This is a beautiful fire - however instructions are poor and not easy to follow. I have a bright blue light in the corner - no idea why and it isn’t mentioned in the book. I can’t get the heater to come in. I’m thinking I have some settings on but can’t find a reset either 🤷♀️
Hello Vida, Not sure what this bright blue light is and we have never seen it before unless you're referring to the blue fuel bed setting which can be changed via the remote control. We suggest contacting your local supplier of your British Fires New Forest fire and they will be able to help you out with any advice and support needed. In the instruction manual, which is included with the fire or available online, it shows how to operate the fire using the remote control to get the heating fan to turn on.
Hey,have you any idea why the remote will not power on the heating or change the lighting for me. Iv reset the unit but the remote doesn't seem to be pairing
Hello Jazzfizle, pairing steps are shown in the instructions manual, if this doesn't work, change the batteries for brand new ones and hopefully this helps. If not, contact your supplier of your Gazco Radiance 135R and they'll be happy to resolve your issue.
Price range
The Bellfires gas fires range from £4,500 - £7,000
Good information 👍
Thank you!
Why do you need a flue surely that's a chimneys for
Twin wall flue systems are used with a stove when it is fitted into a property where there is no masonry chimney. The layer of insulation in twin wall flue keeps the flue gases warmer, allowing the flue to perform correctly and efficiently, whilst also reducing the build up of condensates within the flue system.
