I'm starting a very big project, something that I have in mind for years now. I'ts gonna be long, hard and expensive but it's gonna 100% worth it. I'm gonna reveal it little by little through a series of video that all of you can follow and guess what it is and what it will look like. Enjoy!

Ptet q tun peux simplifier le carenage en l ouvrant vers le bas. Comme ca tun pourras ptet faciliter le balancement.

You deserve lot more views for your hard work, I hope to see you continue working on it! Very nice job on the 1:8 too. I can't tell your inspiration is bad as I love e type and I have a c3 body which I work on. I made a copy of the rear and a 1:4 model of it.
Thanks a lot, I don't post videos often but I think views will grow as the project is taking shape it will be more interesting throughout the process. I'm working on it slowly for now I haven't a lot of time but I absolutely will finish this thing!

I like it! I had plans to do something like that, I would like to make a streamliner with a fairing like that. I have a 2 wheel low racer like yours, what do you recommend? Cheers!
Thanks, I had issue with stability mostly, even if my fairing wasn't heavy but the mass was really low and the wheelbase really long it was unrideable at low speeds. If you already have you bicycle that you don't want to modify you may want to build a light fairing maybe a partial like juste a nose and a tail or something. But If you want a complete fairing you are gonna need to find a way to start and stop easily maintaining balance on a stand still

I think the best architecture for this type of project is a 3 wheels bike. In my case I am using a Tilting trike (with a mechanism I designed and build) with a fiberglass fairing: czcams.com/video/sEaM3-ygtT4/video.html
Really nice build! I did redesign completely the velomobile with 3 wheels this time. I was thinking about making a tilting mecanism but I didn't find something simple and light enough to my likings yet

I did make plans and drawing to correct some issues of the design but I stopped there. I may work on it in the future but I have plenty of other projects for now
En voyant la base en carton, et l'épaisseur de la carlingue au final, j'ai pensé aux canoës faits avec de la fibre sur une structure assez fine en bois, ça permettrait d'avoir une forme plus régulière… La méthode s'appelle skin-on-frame. czcams.com/video/dmZ00IO6md4/video.html Bonne chance pour la suite!
Je pense qu'avec cette méthode c'est plus solide mais pour un vélomobile on cherche plutôt une légèreté maximale donc je pense que dans cette vidéo il a choisi une très bonne, voir la meilleure méthode 😊

Juste pour information : quand je regarde ton pseudo je me demande si tu ne serais pas par hasard végétarien ? De mon côté je n'achète jamais de viande. Quand je faisais des courses de vélo droit, le cheval était interdit si on voulait avancer à vélo. C'est la pire des viandes à manger et l'animal le plus sympathique entre la vache, le mouton, le cochon et le poulet.

Très intéressant ! Avez-vous fait des tests après ? Comparaison vélo droit / ce vélo couché sur 1km par exemple ? Une petite remarque : j'en ai construit 1 il y a un certain nombre d'années. Pour le tube qui supporte le pédalier il faut de la grosseur, car sinon il se tord ( se courbe élastiquement et fait perdre beaucoup d'énergie.) Même pour le vélo classique c'est le cas. J'ai été sprinteur, je me suis penché sur le problème. J'avais mis un gros tube de 6cm de diamètre pour le cadre, comme le BOB. Au fait, cela vous intéresserait-il d'en faire un qui puisse aller à 90km/h sur 200m lancé ? Et avec carénage pas cher pour ensuite pouvoir en fabriquer en série et enfin démocratiser ce transport ? Je serais intéressé de vous donner un coup de main.
@@virage3392 pour le carénage, je pense au minimum, et surtout qui ne cache pas la vue. Ce serait quelque de rapide, non polluant. 0 résine. J'ai testé : les gaz ultra toxiques. Je pense à une armature en aluminium, et des bandes de plastique souples, un peu comme les quartiers d'orange. Moins rond que les ultras chers à 9.000 euros. Mais je pense que l'efficacité serait assez suffisante pour dépasser les 90 km/h. Record vélo droit sur 200 m. 70km/h. Record avec un POB : > 140 km/h =>....mon espoir, et cela serait un excellent argument tant personnel que pour le marketing : Contrôle sur vélodrome de la performance. Voilà, si tu veux m'envoyer le plan du vélo et du carénage, je t'envoie mon plan du carénage.
@@virage3392pas de problème. Comme je te disais, il faut d'abord que tu me communiques le plan du vélo couché. Ensuite je t'envoie un plan du carénage qui dépend de ton plan. Et aussi quelques suggestions peut-être pour la rigidité, et la légèreté. Pour la carcasse en plastique moulé, possible, mais pas faisable là sans argent. L'inconvénient aussi c'est qu'elle est lourde et friable. Alors que ce carénage serait silencieux. J'attends donc ton plan (+ photo?)
