A poor man's I, Ludicrous.... I do love Carter though. So many memories.
I still have the yellow foam ball with the carter logo they threw into the crowd and yet I swear the gig was in broad daylight, mind you, I was totally fucked
Is trhat Francis Dunnery (It Bites) at 4:56?
Dunno...is that Jim Kerr at 1:10 ? Mind you I don't think Simple Minds were on in 92
Love Carter USM …. The 90’s was the last decade of decent music .
I did my one and only ever stage dive with Carter usm at ulu and found the gig on here the other week and there was me!! Diving.
I was there in that audience somewhere. With a long fringe
I was too young to go to gigs according to my parents at the times. But i had the 1st thee albums on cassette. Happy days
God Glastonbury was fab back then. What a wonderful time capsule of a film. It’s just ridiculous now. I know we can’t expect everything to stay the same, that would be crazy, but back then you could take the kids to it. Afford it even if you weren’t wealthy. Now it’s just hideous, money money money, and über unfriendly. I suppose this is capitalism, monetising everything, including the alternative scene. A scene that was meant for everyone.
Over 30 years ago. I'm in that audience having the time of my life.
Glastonbury isn't like this now
Good old days ..no phones just good times
Love Jim-bob and fruitbat-would never have had sleaford mods without them
Very very underrated band
I was there. First year travellers got fucked off. Carter went in a rant at gigs end and had to be dragged off stage! Top gig 😂😂😂
Night of wine and vodka for me.. Let's see what CZcams rabbit hole I end up in...
Vodka soda for me, same rabbit hole pleasure to meet ya
Oh yes, when there actually was an alternative culture.
As opposed to the radio 1 big weekend it's now turned into.
Life's a Beach, and then you dive.
I was there, right down the front, tripping my nuts off on LSD. It was one of the best nights of my life. If I remember correctly the Levellers were on right before this set. It was fucking epic.
Whacky 1990s camerawork. There are no flags in the crowd either. I didn't realise that was a recent thing.
I was right at the front for this gig. Why would anyone have waved a flag? Do kids wave flags at gigs now?
@@blow-by-blow-trumpet Yes. It's been going on for years. They get taller and taller. Most festivals have banned them now, but not Glastonbury.
Back in the day if someone sat on someones shoulders you's see a tonne of bottles heading their way........
Was here and remember it well…. Still got the foam tennis balls they fired into the crowd
Didn’t need flags -(except black flag) didn’t see colour neither still don’t Alerta Alerta antifascista
Was their set recorded for radio?
Saw Carter USM at Reading festival in 94,had a few beers with em backstage, good lads & good crack, festivals were mint then, different vibe in those days. ❤️❤️
Saw them in Brum.. probs 100 years agao.. mental gig.
