    "Intent to endanger life" it's attempted murder really isn't it, my initial thoughts were that it's a long sentence for setting a bin on fire but what if somebody had died, and that was the intent, why else was he doing it? Then you could easily have gone harder on sentencing, he was trying to kill people. I just think he was unfortunate to get caught up in it, the kind of pack mentality urging each other on, would he have done this on his own? The biggest problem is that those who stoked this fire, Farage and Robinson keep at a safe distance, without them these riots wouldn't have happened, and in that sense racist simpletons like Birely are actually also victims, his life will never be the same again.

  • @rdc3397
    @rdc3397 Před 5 dny

    Too lenient. As with all of the sentencing that I've read about, or watched live, the sentencing has been far too lenient. When Keir Starmer et al are going in front of cameras, post sentencing, saying how the justice system is clearly taking the offences seriously, to protect the public or make an example etc, I always get the impression that they are trying to convince themselves not the law abiding public. No decent law abiding citizen will be viewing these sentences as anything other than a sop, intent on placating but not honestly dealing with the crime itself.

All that info is also written down and kept separately with my passport. The phone cost £7.00 and usually has £20.00 credit on it so I don't mind if it gets lost/stolen as I can get another easily.
