Before starting this channel I had to go into the field and learn and practice a lot on my own about Compositing and Visual Effects in general. It took a while and after many doubts I finally decided to start a channel and share my knowledge with you.
I still am and will learn a lot about this profession with each day and each video that I will make for my viewers, as teaching is the best way to learn. So there will be plenty to share. : )

Greystone is Lost in Another Dimension ⚔️ - UE Compositing Test
Integrating Greystone from Paragon into filmed environment. Trying Unreal Engine for 3D compositing with real life action shot. The 3D model and animations of Greystone from Paragon can be found at UE marketplace for free.
All sound effects are created using the Eleven Labs AI (surprised me really) and then edited and mixed inside AE. I also generated audio text for Greystone's voice and tried lipsync with Pika Labs AI to make him speak, but it didn't go well, as there are moments when his face is completely blocked, nor audio voice suited him. So I just decided to not waste my time anymore on this one.

To vertex paint on nanite you have to use Modeling Mode, select Attributes and choose Paint Vertex Colors. You can enable Modeling Mode through plugins. not being able to vertex paint per instance on nanite meshes is basically a dealbreaker for me.. what good is all of that extra detail if it's copy/pasted literally everywhere? you'd need tons of unique meshes with unique textures to create an environment that isn't completely repetitive

As an audio guy, SFX is annoying because now they are usually referring to special effects but some still mean audio. I applied to a position asking for sfx and they wanted special effects. 😅
This is a common issue : ) The same with VFX which is also used in video game industry as digital FX alternative for simulations.

Great, but how do I now STOP the playhead without it going back? For instance; SPACE to return to original spot. ENTER to stop at a new location (like Vegas)?

Do you know if RVT can be used with splatmaps? I trying to add RVT to a material layers using layer parameters and it is not working.
Never tried with splatmaps, let me know if you find the way

You can use a vertex normal ws mask and use the z component to subtract from the rvt world height
