I’ve been using Yetter hoes for years, my current ones are the folding ones, I like them , the only complaint I have is when you fold or unfold them the bar gets hung on the front stands, and the wheel arms get hung on the beck stands and if the driver isn’t paying attention it will bend the wheel arms, this has happened on one of mine, so I always take the stands completely off when I’m using them, and it’s a pain to have to do this.
Why not put a grease zert on the bearing?
The current bearing and housing has a zerk.

How many pounds of down force should it take per row for optimum performance?
Down force for optimum performance could vary depending on stalk quality, moisture, & hybrid. Visually inspect the stalk & root ball to make sure each is getting smashed & cracked open which helps accelerate drying out & breakdown of the stalk. Tightening the spring nut will apply more down force if needed.

Will it go threw sod
The Maverick use a coulter to cut the opening with a knife following to create a strip. It can be ran through sod, but we would want to know more. Contact our service team to discuss further at 800-447-5777 or serviceteam@yetterco.com.
