This doctor is right, go here or go there and wait for hours. I had an eye appointment at 8am, and the doctor didn’t arrive until 930. I kinda felt played. Even at routine eye appointments, you can’t get out within 4 hours. He had Starbucks-I guess the line was probably long that day, so it wasn’t his fault. Doc in the video said go to the ER and wait 9 hours. Yeah, you will. It’s a great deterrent for not going to the ER ever. Realistically, the healthcare system needs to be quicker. During this Opioid pandemic, you need to keep an eye out and make sure your loved ones are actually getting their proper medication when hospitalized.

Devil's advocate: If the patient shows up 1-hr and 45-mintues late, will the doctor still see them? Heck no! That's literally the definition of an appointment...to be somewhere at the appointed time. If a patient has an appointment for 2:00pm and they are required to check-in 15-minutes early, then 2:00pm is exactly when they should be seen. I understand the doctor's office is busy, but so are the patients. The have an open window and can't always afford to sit and wait around 2-3 hours. They could have kids waiting at school to be picked-up or any other number of reasons why they can't wait. Doctor offices are starting to get as bad as airlines and overbooking. It's all about the almighty dollar. But when the shoe's on the other foot and the doctor is running late, it's okay for him to berate and yell at the patient to get the F@$K out of his office?
