What about drilling a second hole? What would that do ?
might cause a leak , thres no room .. have a look at it .
@@airgunningyup I did, you’re right I didn’t realize the two holes were staggered like they were
Where did you get that off tank adapter?
made it
I got mine put on 2300 on bottle reg it shoots 650-730????
czcams.com/video/zhH8bSp_nU8/video.html 2300 makes no sense , they dont make a reg that pressure
Great presentation on this potential modification from someone who seems to know a lot about these guns and how they work. Thanks!
Do u know if this fits the 2250XL??
i make one for the 2250 , the 2240 model will not fit , the 2 guns have different size tubes// www.ebay.com/itm/186036837168?_nkw=2250+safepac&itmmeta=01J5N75JVE67JGKMBP43DYCR4C&hash=item2b50a8db30:g:LuIAAOSwhCxgOThw&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKkDtvEAFfHaU%2FgGhPY7zV5hHm1d9qRetnI%2BC7IAzpNHRh8xh3EjOOfbVmrCqcmv96KCrjz1%2FnSMLJKYazMJLizS%2BFbPMIGN3Q7AGCa2pMd3qj7wakuhscygGMDOLqisx3oCH4QIvoQKtwgtVyXjDTbFgCyaEBtpWtgAHJG3XQZrN6bKyCL9gc%2Bbheoz0VVhLUDNEWvd3RTzdLvlxb2COZ0ezabVFHB7vntsVo3XKecND0RDLcj9aDSjRB%2Fbf0dTt3c%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR-StlqetZA
Mine is leaking air at drop block to gun any idea why?
bad oring , or block not tight enough on the gun.. theres only 1 seal there.
The one i got from you works perfect!🎉😊
Poor execution. At 20 meters, you only get 6 shots max. No regulator, all the other shots hit 1- 2 inches below. It takes too much air to cycle the action
Hey would i be able to know where you got that barrel
it was a smoothbore piece of steel tube
@@airgunningyupOh thankyou, I'm using one as well, hopefully it works, would I be able to ask if you made the valve or bought it?
@@Lb-qg5bh i made the valve and poppet
@@airgunningyup I might have to buy a z valve online, I don't trust myself to make any technical parts
@@airgunningyup do you think a Z valve would work for a 50 cal pellet?
Hey man would i please be able to know where you got that barrel, im making a 50 cal airgun and im really lost trying to find a barrel
Do you still have these drop blocks for sale
on ebay
@airgunningyup I clicked the link and is said page was not found?

im a Baker for wonder breads and for people wondering what that is its a peace of bread from the last bread that was in that pan. i dont recommend eating that because it could have been there for a while.
thx... i tossed it
Mount it to a drone or surveillance cam
It looks cool 👍
Can you make something like this for the huben gk1 v3?
I’d love to have a bigger tank and be able to get more shots at full power. Maybe not for every day use but definitely while out hunting or at the range
id need the gun on hand , it would be a cumbersome design and change the balance of the gun , but it could be done if there was huge demand *( e.g if the demand was high enough id buy the gun to design the block
They need to leave the gun as is IMO
Hi, When will you have your stock adapter available? I was thinking about trying a vertical picc adapter and then attach a folding stock. Can the back of the grip be drilled into to mount an adapter? I was also thinking about a strong magnet directly behind the grip to hold the adapter instead of drilling.
Hey man, you suggested to me that I'd try making a raised valve seat. Is it lighter to open than an ordinary tapered valve seat & seal
it can be since theres less contact area , its also easier to seal.. look at crosman 2240 valves they have a raised seat.. I think the 1377 does also. ALL youre really doing is facing off the valve and leaving a lip , then sand that lip to 1000 grit , and thats it
@@airgunningyup Yep, I know how I'd make it. It's really easy. However i will have to make a little sleeve as I am gonna have the valve stem in a hole, like most threaded tube air guns have. do you think .23 inch throat, .30 inch raised seat and .33 inch valve seal would work good? btw about the semi auto, I had some cycling issues so I am working on a new design, this time I will make it .22 because that way the probe has 1.5x more surface area, making it much easier to cycle the probe. Previously I used a 1.1mm vent hole which was too large, the hammer cycled so fast it damaged the aluminium tube slots. I will experiment it with 0.6mm this time. I don't know if you heard of him, but an Argentinian air gun youtuber "Danielboom07" made a semi auto as well, however I think he had about the same air flow through the vent hole as mine did, but he didn't need a crazy stiff spring to release enough air... I guess I have to experiment quite a bit before I can make a functional semi auto
@@pcpairgunschannel yes that combo will work as far as throat and poppet..( especially well if the poppet is delrin) as for the semi , you only need minor blowby past the stem , my stem hole was .010 ( .25mm) overbored and it worked fine. The key reason ur semi auto isnt opening enough is A, the hammer is too light , B the throat is too large. The reason i ended up with a very heavy hammer spring was the same thing , it wouldnt open enough with a larger throat. ( .250 as i recall.
@@airgunningyup danielboom must have had a similar throat size to that, since his semi auto made 30ftlb in 22 cal. His hammer spring did not seem to be much stronger than any spring he used for bolt actions
@@pcpairgunschannel it could have been his hammer travel , thats about 40% of the equation.. A longer hammer travel does wonders.
..the engineers are wanting to rely on the gas and the gas for the bolt operation mechanism they also prefer a mechanical activated trigger some stupid reason , (rather than direct pressure piloted venting methods etc...) my point is maybe a different design where the shot exits triggers a magnetic induction coil, non contact sensor , and trips the ELECTRIC solenoid and i think on the lever actions you could design a linear semi auto loader this way instead on the jet , the issue with the non regged velocity drop maybe solved with a whip to larger tank anyway IMO (?)
...second stage , the next valve fires as the shot passes maybe a led or magnet induction sensor ...i had an idea if you piped propane into the co2 12 gram insert , maybe get a precise measure of output gas so as the 6mm bb boolet exits barrel it vents into an add on chamber so the propane propellant mixes 5% with that volume and sparks and the barrel goes on past the vents and combustion portion maybe get more kick , giddy up i mean ...
...ok it hit me , it's too much to double the pressure with the pumps and compressors, you'd need nitrogen prefilled or something maybe...my point is make a double grip , basically two into one valve then for double volume, a big mac like the goofy .45 one but not a fat somehow ,just 2 valves ????
...when i saw the other pistol similar but it mentioned near 50 foot lb. range in .25 , comes with a silencer the thing was i was imagining road trips and you have to run in a strange restroom off the road type stuff , self defense situation , it gets funny if you can imagine but those are over $1000 range , it;s the legal aspect though that niche but odd...
interesting overview thankyou ...well IIRC if you were to double the operating pressure [SOMEHOW} you'd double the velocity i think , ...I'm thinking we just aren't there yet what i seek in production and let's be honest if it were for defense you might as well spray your air pressure through a simple full auto still or have a big bore or both (edit: homemade but from rated safe stuff that was ...
i only doubled the capacity , theres no way to double pressure or velocity..
Can you make it semi auto
no , not this particular gun , thered be no room for that many moving parts.
@@airgunningyup if you could make a semi auto version it would be the best compact air pistol ever
I am sure you can achieve big gains with more resistance on the hammer spring, by either finding a stiffer spring or simply stretching the existing spring (very carefully) without heat! A small amount of extra pressure from the spring is all you would need.
i did a preload spacer begind hammer spring , it does increase power just slightly.
Rob, how trust worthy are these aliexpress tanks? I know 90 percent of our stuff is made overseas but i hate to have a tank explode having 4.5k psi
generally speaking theyre just as safe as tanks we buy in the US ( all made in china..) the labeling inprint on the tanks is in bar , so really read that before accidentaly filling a 3000 to 4500
there isnt storm clouds dont blame the fire you started on lightning. if youre a pyromaniac live up to it 💯
Lol

Help! Mine won’t hold air right out of the box! 😡 wondering if I’m missing a O ring or something.mvn it’s holding air now I guess you can’t fill it loaded or it needed the O rings.
you mean it wont hold any , or slowly leaks out ..??
make sure the gun is cocked when u try to charge it .checlk that the fill nipple is tight , and make sure the air tube is tightened down.
@@airgunningyup it wasn’t holding anything. I got it working it ether won’t fill loaded or it was the O rings but I got it working! Thanks!
@@airgunningyup it works better with the smaller mags that the jet came with. These 25 cal hollow point slugs I got a while back that were to loose and didn’t work well with the jet seem to work good with it too.
@@4514rooster dearling with the same problem, how did u get it working ? where to pu the O rings?
That’s very cool! I bet your kids like watching them.
my daughter has me lift her up to see them
@@airgunningyup that’s fun!
I finally made the connection as to who you are, Thank you a thousand times Rob everything I have ever gotten from you works flawless.
Seems like you intend to make a turret bro
thats a cool idea too.. I was thinking a briefcase , or mounting it under a rifle as a secondary gun
Just get a drozd blackbird 😄
Haha this is cool!
Haha much better! This is gunna be awesome!
well , ill be going back to the slow mode once the battery arrives tomorrow, I dont have a charger for 4 s and the drill battery is way too big for this contraption.
heres the video of it firing wayyy faster czcams.com/video/jBxvg7-eHUc/video.html
I’m subscribed and always give a thumbs up, I’m from Russia, thank you for your work!
thanks man
Just don't pee on it🤣
Make it faster lol
no point , it only holds 15rds
@@airgunningyup make an extended mag?
@@Brett_M I will try, the mag is part of the gun
Oh yeah I forgot. I was think it was one of those skinny ones that went in the grip.
@@Brett_M that would change the game entirely.
just make a way to activate this witha remote and you can hunt deer with that a camera and a rifle
I knew the next time I saw the gun it was going to have the trigger guard cut off lol.
new video its firing , its uploading now
Got mine from you to mine on the bottle. It was a lil loose after clocking, i filled it, and all problems i thought i was having went away thank you again! Cheers!
That’s a good idea to use the rail.
makes it adjustable front to rear , which will be handy for dialing in the engagement of the cam to the trigger.
Haha this will be fun!
I think this would be cool as a stansdalone unit for picitanny mounting under a rifle , or mounted to the wrist and simply have the momentary switch in that hand..Anyway , ill be printing and machining the initial parts tomorrow for mounting this .. I do wish the trigger throw was shorter, but this is a double action so im not suprised.
While I'm still working on this I'm also doing an electronic action pistol at the same time
I need one of these. How do I get one?
i stopped making them , the indexing didnt match from one gun to another
Hello, could you tell me what the thread is on the inner barrel (of the Diana Chaser) I noticed that it was 16mm but I'm not sure (to see if I can adapt it to one of my replicas ^^ ) Thanks for the response
the valve or the tube ?? you say barrel , but thats where the pellet comes out of when firing .. The valve thread is m16-1.0
